Hi. There. Boys are away.

Yes, they are having a holiday. We do not have anything special to do with music right now. Songs for Nursery Rhymes EP are ready and waiting for release.

Why do you do covers ?

The basic idea is a thought, that "I would like you to play this song for me."

And the idea sells.

The idea comes from listeners. I think, that musicians with many real fans, would get quite good response for playing few covers for their fans. Suggested to Robyn, that she would make a bonus disc to her next album from cover songs.

But you are making albums from covers.

We cannot use the original arrangements as they were and are. Almost as much, and sometimes even more work to do, than with the brand new songs.

You are writing songs for the Boys' next album.

Yes. Looks like that we are sort of getting back to the old Space Waves sound. Songs I have written are slightly more classical than songs in Space Waves.

Looks like ?

Yes. I gave up from targeted audiences and predefined genres few years ago. Writing the songs and melodies just like they come out.

Lots of Ghosts coming ?

Holy Ghosts is probably the last Ghost and Space album we make. Having high hopes of getting brand new, next generation synths for the Boys' next native album. With the new synths it should be possible to get sharper and rougher sounds. If there are Ghosts on the Boys' next album, they are likely to be different from Ghost Opera and Holy Ghosts.

Big rush for the Tele-Tubbies.

Don't know. We do not follow visitors and listeners. The few stats and estimations we have, comes by an accident. Numbers on the bills, boost to the sales and popularity to someone or something we promote here . . .  in positive way . . . of course.

We are not searching big rushes for the songs and site. Aiming for the long term entertaining material and songs.

Holy Ghosts, what is it like.

Nursery Rhymes is the first EP from the Holy Ghosts. So you can hear the sound from the front page. Slightly different from Ghost Opera and Space Covers. 

So much different that we made two mixes from the Spider Man. So that Boys can insert the interactive Itsy Bitsy Spider song to the Space Cover and Holy Ghost sessions in live performances.

Spider man ?

In the song male spider is sewing a web. Suddenly a rain and thunderstorm comes. The storm flushes the spider-man to the ground levels. This is the story of the lyrics in the song. In almost all around the world.

We'll meet again, you released first new song for the Holy Ghosts ?

Yes we did so. After a small and short G-4 summit. 

You had any special reason for the release.

Yes. 16th of June is an Anniversary to our sponsor.

Didn't mean that, but demand for the release release came from the sponsor ?

Yes. Ouch.  Didn't listen your question carefully. How careless of me. You did use the word demand in your question. Our sponsor did not ask us to release anything. Chose the release date by ourselves.

Khrrm . . . Okay. Yes . . . of course . . . You did not listen to my second question. Yes, yes, yes . . . Release for the sponsor . . . Let's continue. 

Yes okay. Something the matter ?

Nothing at all. Let me put it this way .  .  .  You started to release Holy Ghosts. You were supposed to release the album at the Christmas time.

We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when is actually 4th released song from Nursery . . .  argh . . .  Holy Ghosts. Songs from Nursery Rhymes EP will also be on the Holy Ghosts. The remixes from the Music Box covers are also Holy Ghost material.

Boys were near to death.

Yes. Not only in words.  After the fun is over, and you get sober, the heavy monsters start to flow to your mind. Boys were having a small hang over from their furlough. Heavy tripping and dipping . . . 

You think old We'll meet again will be a big hit ?

Don't know what it will be. We liked the song. We'll meet again is a classic of the popular music. The chorus "We'll meet again don't know where, don't when." is touching. Suits well for humming and sing-a-longs.

The song belongs to the Sunday songs, we made for the Holy Ghost in the Spring 2012. It is also part of the vintage material we took to the Holy Ghosts.

Mistress Vera Lynn did the song at young age, We'll meet again is not a tribute to a passed person. Mrs. Lynn is still alive, little over 90 years old.

No one asked Boys to play in the summer festivals and concerts ?

No inquiries about the availability was made.

Boys are experts in live performances ?

Yes. It is always the primary thing in our music. And our music making projects.

Boys are rather popular at the moment ?

Surprisingly popular. Accidental signs from Boys popularity have surprised us all. Far more bigger, than we have estimated . . . by ourselves.

Maybe next summer ?

Maybe. Maybe not.

You doomed the Halloween in the blog.

Only compared the tradition to the Eastern Witch tradition. 

Santa is also a very positive person. he rewards you from being nice and decent. The threatening business is left to parents : "If you are not nice now, you will not get any presents from Santa."

Your friend is not a friendly Eastern Witch.

She is very nice, friendly and patient east European woman . . .  Eastern Woman. She has nothing to do with movie medias and politics.

East Europeans are not very religious people.

No. Lenin, Marx and other ideologists doomed Christianity and religions. In their opinion Christianity supports capitalism and helps power keepers to hold the power and subdue their citizens. Religions were forbidden in the Soviet countries and Soviet satellites.

Socialists spied their citizens.

Now that the archives from the old socialist countries are open, it seems that the system was unique to East Germany. 

Archives from the Western Countries are still closed. Surveillance systems and cameras are very popular in Western World.

You blessed boys decision not to promote any jobs here.

Of course. If the power keepers are allowed to continue with the current system, there aren't very many jobs left for the next generations. Just like it is with oil and many other raw materials. 

It would be a lie to say, that a good future and good jobs are waiting for you and other graduates.

It is very easy to play bold power keeper, when the only thing . . . that matters . . . is the way things are presented in the main stream medias . . . and how the presentation affects to the polls which measures your popularity. 

No need to worry about the things, which takes place in the reality and real world . . . You can live and act like an editor.

Live 8.

The power keepers made awful many promises in the public. After the speeches were held, popularity polls looked good. You could forget everything. And start to revenge the humiliations. Behind the scenes.

How much an add on your site would cost ?

This is a non commercial band and company site, not available for advertising purposes.

But if it was, how much ?

A cost of a full campaign on the site would vary from about five hundred thousand Euros to few million Euros. With the movie media prices and pricing system, lowest prices would be in around 30 million euros, and highest prices would be 200 to 300 million Euros. 

Before getting Google-Space from here, you would need a product with worldwide markets and wide distribution chain.

You write the code for the new synths by yourself ?

That's why boys are on the holiday almost all the time. R&D is currently transferring to the wide chars in everything. The conversions and creations of the new objects and low level functions takes lots of time.

What are wide chars ?

Wide char is method for storing and handling characters and text data in general. With wide chars you can use app. 65 000 different letters and numbers. Wide chars are not very important in western countries. All western characters have been embedded into the so called ANSI characters and ANSI code pages. ANSI system includes Cyrillic, Arabic and Hebrew. With ANSI you could store little over different 100 chars. With Code Pages the letter count raises to around 500 letters.

Wide chars are needed with Asian languages. In the past Asian based computers used so called Multi-byte chars. Wide chars were taken to common use over ten years ago. Might been better, if the wide chars were never taken to use. All you had to do was to add MultiByte support to the system. 

Why ?

There are awful many fixed file formats for ANSI and MBCS characters. Then there are lots of user files and programs which uses either ANSI or MBCS chars. So when you transfer to Wide Chars, you must be ready to read and handle also ANSI or MBCS chars. Depending on your location. Creation of the hybrid systems is not very easy.

But you were also changing to HTML formatted texts ?

Yes I changed from plain texts to HTML formatted texts. These things are very simple, when compared to Wide Char messes. No matter what you do, or try to do, you always end up into a mess with Wide Char - Ansi support. Besides wide-chars R&D's new low level print routines support also right-left + top-down  display / print order. This is the native Asian printing order. Overall screen layouts are bit difficult with variable printing orders. When you print for left to right the data expands horizontally and in Top-Down prints data expands vertically. The solution for this problem is still under consideration.
