Evenings with Boys and Girls Ghost Dances Spring 2017

Boys next native album was renamed from Ghost Opera 2 to Ghost Dances.
In general talks, dialogues are new. Part of the subjects have been in our blog, etc. 

What is Ghost Dances like ?

Almost all songs have double rhythm system. It is the thing for the name, Ghost Dances. In some songs drums and rhythm is mixed so, that they are very visible. 

Usually 4/4 rhythm is hit with Ghosted Bass drum. It is assisted with unique crash hit. Songs are Big Band pop-music. Difference to common big band pop is that album contains new melodies and arrangements. Most from the big band pop albums have instrumental versions from best selling songs.

Big band pop albums with new songs are very rare. Henry Mancini made such albums long time ago, but Mancini made also movie and Tv-themes. Leading songs on his albums. Okay,  Glenn Miller. He and his band made covers just like others ...  Ennio Morricone, John Barry made movie and tv themes. Albums and songs ... cannot remember anyone for this interview. There are many synthesizer albums with new songs, genre is not the same. They fall into techno music. Pianos, strings and brasses are not included. They are not made for traditional dancing, either.

Ghost Dances is slightly different from our earlier releases. Had to make and arrange songs for all major listener groups, without messing the general / album's sound too much. There are few songs with Space Waves sound, few with Ghost Opera sound, few with ATS Mines sound, few with sounds from independently released popular songs.

Album is made like Ghost Opera  : It contains melodies from our pool from the December 2014 ( after Jack's recovery from ear damage ) to February 2017. Songs from earlier releases were dropped from the album. Only one failed melody was left to the pool.

Typical for Ghost Dances arrangements - songs - are connector parts which are different from the melody. We were asked if we could make songs with new attractive guitar riffs. Since we used most popular guitar riffs in Space Waves, Jack tried to construct other kind of nice / touching sounds into new connector parts. Usually verses are connected with the sounds from the melody. So that you do not necessarily notice, when the next verse begins.

All melodies are written and arranged from scratch. Resemblances to other songs are co-incidental. Have the cover song and nursery rhyme series, where we make songs over existing material.

Estimated that listening experience would be closer to Space Waves than Ghost Opera.
Is it possible that virtual dancing, a dance you perform in your imagination, whilst sitting in armchair or sleeping in your bed, can exhaust you ?
Well can it ?
Don't know, it's up to you. Tried to make imaginable things possible.

The album was inspired by your listeners ?
Yes. Naturally. When people recognizes the only visible member, Jack, quite a many takes few dance steps.

How will Ghost Dances go ?

From the quality and popularity you can never say much in the forehand. Could say, that there aren't any songs, which was left unfinished. We have been satisfied with all songs, got rather good sounds into them, and so on. Not known how our listeners take the songs, sounds and melodies. Rough estimation is that over half from the melodies are hit material. Melodies from which you can easily make number one singles. In the album quite a many from the best melodies are downgraded with poorer arrangement. So that the album stays in balance.

Jack often says, that good melody will get popular regardless from the way you play it. Ghost dances does not sound like long term number one album ...  or an album that would ever reach mainstream Top 10 charts ... but if Jack is right, it is possible that Ghost Dances will be warmly welcomed by our listeners.

Hit material, but you already used the melodies ?
Doesn't matter much.
At least half from the evergreens, which were made before WWII were originally released as orchestral play. They got lyrics afterwards.
After the orchestral play was recorded and released.

Anything new and different to your earlier releases ?

Difference to Ghost Opera is in arrangements. In Ghost Opera we sort of tried to create an album, with a set of similar kind of songs. It is not easy to remember Ghost Opera songs. From this aspect Ghost Dances returns back into Space Waves. Tried to give songs unique sounds, with various arrangement styles and instrument palettes.

Difference to Space Waves is that Ghost Dances do have any filler songs. Space Waves has few songs, which were added / left to album for getting enough songs and length into it. The melodies were taken from the pool, they miss the native Space Waves sound. 

Ghost Dances uses two Pulsing Pad base tunings. The new tuning misses the old rattling sound, it is used in for example Calypso Ghost. Ghost Box 2015 is the same we used in ATS Mines Soundtrack. It is tuned for lower pitches, than the original Ghost Opera's Ghost Box setting.

Album contains songs we made for Jack's 10th anniversary as composer, first two octave songs we made.

Any keyless melodies ?

Yes. The later keyless and two octave songs are already quite a lot like common songs. Not as visible to your ears as the very first attempts and songs.

Most from New Year is based on keyless melody. Pop One has a complicated keyless system, which is played with piano and brightness. Off-Note Act - The Disturber  has also keyless parts.

Is Ghost Dances made with unaltered tracks, like your earlier releases  ?
Yes. After recording only the volume levels for the tracks have been adjusted. Otherwise tracks are almost like they were played. Midi recording gives you a possibility to fix faults from the recording.
What kind of faults ?
Note lengths and non rhythmic notes. 
Talking about kind of a Synth-HiFi sound. HiFi sound tries to be as close to the original play as possible.

How the mono tracks are divided to two stereo tracks in Ghost Dances.
Usually division comes from the instruments. Orchestral instruments goes to stereo by orchestral  layout. Other common instruments are in the center.  Most synth-synth instruments are also divided evenly to both channels. Drums microphone is in front of the Bass drum. Don't have Sound Font specs at the hands, but I think, that the described stereo division system is mostly made by Cubasis.

This division to channels conflicts with HiFi, eh  ?
Do not confuse Hifi with stereo and multi channel sound.  Idea in HiFi is to play music as it was recorded. In Live recording, the sound should be the same than in concert. Studio sound should match the intended sound ... the way the album was recorded and mixed. HiFi and stereo came into home audio systems in 1960's. Stereo systems came before HiFi systems. HiFi amplifiers, record players and tape recorders came to markets in late 1960's. The division of mono tracks into stereo is not a big secret to audio enthusiasts. It is related quite often. If you are interested in audio systems, you grab it to your memory. Pa was an audio enthusiast. He had a stereo system when I was born in 1963, he replaced it with expensive HiFi system in 1968. One of the first with transistors in amplifier.

Ghost Dances have a crystal clear sounds  ?
We were said to play with Ghosts and long echoes ... only. Ghost Dances has sharper sounds.

Audio enthusiasts talks about separation, when they deal with clear sound. Separation is system's capability to play different instruments, so that you can  hear them all clearly. The separation is the name for the missing component in audio pulses or waves. Now that we know from where it comes, what makes it, it is possible to create instruments and systems which extends and manipulates the recently discovered third component. You'll get additional knobs  to your amplifier, for adjusting separation. Just like you adjust volume and frequency.

Where do the dance numbers come ?
Jack names the melodies on yearly basis. Counters for a year start from 1. Dance 10 is 10th common melody he wrote in 2016.  New Year - Dance 15 and The disturber - Dance 8 are also from the year 2016.

Album is not very mind lifting ?
It is instrumental, orchestral pop music.
With resemblances to classical music.
Should be good for dancing. If album is not very mind lifting, it has very unique melodies. There are new two-octave pop melodies, and, quite a many has keyless sequences.
It is made to our massive group of listeners. 
Ever since Space Waves made us popular, our music has been rather smooth.
You follow the critics ?
If she thinks that album is not very mind lifting, it is her opinion about it. The way she took it. Cannot argue with such.
Tried to make the album so that you listen it from the beginning to end. Not only few hits ... best songs from it.

Best songs of the album ?
The judgment is the hands of our listeners. Whilst finalizing album, it turned out that the most difficult predecessors for the song were Ghost Dance 10 and Grande Finale. They tend to flatten and ruin the sounds from the next song.

Are those bonus songs poorer than others  ?
They are random songs. One set we made and Jack wrote right after ear recovery. Not poorer or better than others.
Songs are almost in the same order I have composed them. Bonus songs are not taken from our major melody - song pool. That's the only difference.
There are melodies and songs from longer period, melodies and songs from different periods have slightly different sounds. They do not fit together very well.
Ghost Dances has richer sound than Ghost Opera II was supposed to have. Had to re-arrange almost all songs which were made for Ghost Opera II. Some suffered a little from the addition of Ghost Dances sound and double rhythm.

Last songs from Ghost Dances are for Kids ?
Do not know to whom they were made. 
They were not made with our typical Rhymes effects and attractions.
Made for general audiences.

You think that the album will encourage people to dance and study dancing  ?
Hope so. 
Giving steady and clear rhythm is the thing you can get from music and musicians. Not much more.
Hoped also that in the future most songs and albums would have short hints for dancers, telling them how the rhythm is hit in the song.
Can get examples how to explain the rhythm, from the descriptions above.

What next, album for Boys 10th anniversary ?
Do not have any plans for Boys 10th anniversary. There will be ATS Sudoku soundtrack, not known when. Only existing plan is to continue with covers, rhymes and Christmas songs. Jack ?

After on-line comeback, I will be busy for few years. So many things to do. ATS site is the most important. 
Boys will continue, Remember Me will continue as long as possible. There is technical limit for the maximum number of cards.

What about Maxwell Thunderbird ?
I will continue writing after I get into Barbados.
Why did the survivors choose to rescue young people, leave the politics and people with experience to die ?
Survivors have a desperate need for people who can have and raise kids. Human race is almost extinct. Construction of the new world needs hard labor, young healthy people to do the job.

- - Madonna - -

Madonna has the longest streak from number one studio albums in row. Streak has lasted over 30 years. Second best is Beatles : 7 years. Jack,  do you have any knowledge or background data from the longest streak ever ?

It is not possible to know / say, what makes some artist popular ...  

... could say, that according my experience Madonna is much more keen and dependent on her fans than musicians in average. Possible that it gives her the motivation to try harder than others year after year.

During 1980's and 1990's midgets accused Madonna from almost all imaginable things. Wrote what-ever they wish. There were periods, when she was sensitive about gossip writers and paparazzi boys. Midgets sort of drove her to her fans.

Madonna is also one of the very rare musicians, who has an Oscar nomination. Nomination is from leading actress in Evita musical. Theme song from the same movie won Oscar. Otherwise her success on big screen has followed the general rule : You cannot be successful actor and musician at the same time. 

? Cher belongs to rare singers, who has won Oscar. Oscar from leading actress came in 1988 from Moonstruk. Cher's career is near the general rule : She didn't make much music during her career in movies. In the early 1990's there are few years, when she was popular singer and actor, both. Cher has a long career, many number one singles, but only few number one albums.

Jack the production date of Ghost Dances, March 18th, is it real ?
Yes. Finished first master file set on my God daughter's birthday. As old as Taylor Swift, too old for celebrating other than round years. Matching dates are more or less co-incidental.
Is she in music ?
No, her father died to cancer, when she was young. She works at healthcare sector. Married with two little kids of her own.

What kind of dirt gossips wrote about Madonna. Can you give an example ?
When Lourdes was born, gossip magazines had many stories about the pregnancy and child. In short, all stories said, that it is not possible for a person like Madonna to be ... or become ... good mother.
Was there stories, which would have praised her capabilities as mother ?
No. If there was, there wasn't many. I do not remember seeing such stories. Never seen similar kind of stories from any other celebrity, politic or public person.

You have said that Africa project is the most valuable thing you have ever done. How much ?
Boys and the side effect are most valuable thing I have ever done personally. Africa project is the most valuable I have ever planned and led. In 2010 calculated and estimated that Africa project created around 30% permanent boost to the world economies. It is also a major scientific breakthrough, it explained how financial growth is born and how it can be created. It has led to awful many applications. People who works with money and economies relates it and the applications every day.
Well, how do you do that  ?
With work.
With productive work. Africa project increased number of potential customers ... for existing products. By increasing Asians welfare. Counterpart, Space City aimed for creation of new, better products. Multimedia computer project created a new apparatus for households. Nowadays over 50 percent from the households have purchased the apparatus. In western countries almost all households have at least one computer.

- - Movie and Music promotions  - -

We are no longer talking about movies and music for other artist.
No. Except those who has deal with our own distributor. To the big music and movie companies the money they get from here is mob-money. Money they do not want. Mob money ruins their purity and violates their sacred rules.
They all showed door to Jack.
Mob money ruins their image in the eyes of their owners and own side.

You dropped Thunderbird movie from the future plans.
He wrote the story in 2011. The later researches has made it obsolete.
He plans to write new updated version from it first.
Very different from the old story ?
Not much. The radio active meteor storm ruins the space green houses with earth. The plants and coal in ruined houses are radioactive, just like things on earth. Oil is still made from coal, and there aren't distant oil plantations near the moon. Only few green houses for the staff, who works in moon mines.
Space hotel constructions have engines, but how moon survived from the storm ?
Moon and nearby green houses were heading towards the storm. Storm had already passed moon, when the story began. The storms speed was around 230 km/h, and length 30 000 km. Distance from earth to moon is 350 000 km. If earthly authorities would have listened to Isaac's warning, with new data it would've been rather easy to redirect the storm away from earth. You could have redirected the storm with heavy motorized shields.
Space green houses and solar plants will get such shields for stopping heavy cargo ships.
And for catching broken manned ships, which are going away from Earth.
Heavy shields and catapults are used for giving thrust and speed to the leaving vehicles.

Most actors get only one bigger role during their acting career.
Much the same with musicians. Only one top ten single and album, during the time you make or perform music, is very common to musicians.
Difference is, that if musician continues long enough, he-she usually gets a taste from the fame.
But on the other hand there are quite many actors with over 20 year successful career. Macho man, action movie hero can have very long, over 30 years, career. Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Wills for example have been top actors for over 30 years. The first James Bond, Sean Connery, had also very long and successful career on big screen.
At the same levels with the longest male porn actor careers.
Musicians with over 20 successful years are rare.
You should talk about best selling years ... best selling records. After you make a best selling album, it remains popular and much listened for an awful long time.
You're right. Although popular and much listened, you don't get much money from them. After album falls from the charts, your incomes falls too.

Your 1st album was a breakthrough album.
Yes, but ThatMan was popular and well known before us.
Quite many from you had also gained some success before Boys.

Actors do not have quarantines for success.
One movie has two leading roles and 200 lesser job opportunities for actors. Number of active actors is too big for music-like quarantines.
Look at the other side, too. Although fame is not quarantined, there are lots of lesser job opportunities for an actor. You can make money for living with these jobs. I mean, if acting is the thing, you really like.

Did you know, that from all actors Italian female porn stars have the highest status.
Really ?
When they play in full feature, their stage name is included in the title.
They have titles like Sexy Luna in Californian, Brigitte Bui in Movie.
Think that I have seen similar kind of ads from mainstream movies. Ads, where actor is more important than the movie.
Are they all named like that ?
No. Only the biggest and most popular of the time gets their names into titles.
Could it be a way to keep the stars happier ?
Think that the reason in customers. Their way to buy movies.

Is it difficult to make movies and videos.
Basic rules for creating a story are simple. You must always bring actors to scene. You can do that in previous scene, with dialogue or action or both.  Then you can bring actors to scene in the beginning of the scene.

At the end of the scene, you must close the scene. Usually you transfer actors away from the scene. With dialogue and/or movement ... action. There are few other ways to close the scene, too. If your footage has dialogue, the end of the dialogue is a place, where you can cut the scene ... usually.

When you change the place of action, you should place short header shot from the new building, city, etc, before the actual footage begins. 

When you edit footage without transitions, the footage usually cracks  when you cut the picture and sound at the same time. Usually you cut sound before video, but it is possible to cut the picture before sound, too.  Time cap is usually so small, that you do not notice it from the movie.

In traditional movie making you visualize everything. You do not use texts for telling the story, location changes, and so on. If you use texts, you must have supporting footage running in the back.

And that's all ?
Yes. But these are only basic rules, frames for getting the story running smoothly on the screen.

How do you make people laugh ?
Usually by making your character doing or saying something unexceptional. Quite often this unexceptional thing must come quickly. As an example could mention dead drunk or stupid character who suddenly raises up and says some wise.

Exaggerated action or reaction is one way to get people laughing. Confusion and clumsiness belong also to the things people laugh.

Most important thing is to make your audiences aware, that this is a joke or comedy. When your leading character slips and falls onto floor, in talks / drama your audiences takes a deep breath. But in joke / comedy they start to laugh.

How do you make your movie exiting ?
You got to create an emotional connection to the character before the scene. Make the viewer like / support the character, or view the move as the character. The rule goes to action movies and romantic comedies, both. You must give screen time and dialogues to the character before the action, it makes the viewer familiar-friends with the character and he way he-she is. Alfred Hithcock, who is widely held as the master of excitement, used very long, calm introductions to the characters and settings.

Starting a solo movie or 1st sequel with action, without short introduction, often confuses patrons.
After you get experience you can use the direct action for confusing viewers on purpose. When you miss the experience your movies tend to confuse patrons unintentionally. And the intended confusion is usually considered to be unintentional. 

What is difference between action and thriller movie ?
Thriller does not reveal the scoundrels to the viewers, you have to wait, before the scoundrels are revealed. Action movie shows the scoundrels earlier, it has more scenes from the crook-activities.
Most popular detective books are written as thrillers. Agatha Christie's Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot revealed the scoundrels in the last chapter. Sherlock Holmes books are written in the same way.

- - Time traveling - -

Jack, what is your opinion about time traveling ?
I have earlier said ... not necessarily very clearly ... that in my opinion it is possible to foresee things, but these dreams do not always come true. Some evidence from foreseeing does exist. Nothing prevents you from seeing dreams from the past either. From the physical time traveling, I do not have an opinion. Opinion from the physical time traveling is the same than ... with for example wormholes ... maybe, maybe not.

You do not believe in it.
Didn't  say so. If you search natural explanation for wormhole, it could be hurricane or typhoon like long cyclone in the space. Cyclone which is born from rotation. When you fly to the eye, the pressure and rotation sucks you to the other end very quickly.

You don't happen to have a similar kind of explanation from time traveling ?
No. Time is so poorly known dimension  ... in principle recorded music is a recording from the time in the past. Photos and videos are snapshots from the past. With computer's 3d world, you can create recordings from the time. Currently the best possible is rather rough. Very many details are missing, and the maximum size for the recorded space is small ... Animals' memory is recorder-storage system for time related things ... 

In principle, idea in time traveling is to change external time, without making changes to your internal time. Your internal time says, how old you are, when you were born and when you die. Your internal clock and time is bound to your birthday. Internal clock starts to tick after successful sexual intercourse. One very common belief is that, when you travel with light speed, it slows down your internal clock. During one sun year trip, at light speed, your internal clock forwards only one year, or so. If you are 30, when you start the trip, after trip you are and look like you were 31.
Black Holes are believed to have the same effect.

When you faint, your internal clock obviously stops. When you wake up, you continue from the point when you fainted. You do not know a thing about the time you were unconscious. When you wake up from the sleep, you know to check the watch. So that you know, how long you have slept. After you become conscious, you start from the point, when you fainted. You do not know, that you fainted.
You need someone to tell you about fainting and the time you were unconscious.
If you find a way to control fainting, long space trips can be made in deep sleep, just like in the movies.
If you got to keep your age whilst traveling in time, all trips must be made in deep sleep ... if, if it stops your internal clock.

Old testament talks about book of life. This book contains your birth and death dates. Hints, that time traveling is possible. Since we live by the book, it is possible that you cannot do any changes to the past, future and present. Although you seem to make decisions in the present, you do them, because the decision is written to the script of your life.
If you travel to the past with Biblical system,  you do exactly the same things, than before. If you come from the future, you already visited, you simply repeat yourself.
If things you foresee, do not always come true, Biblical scripting system doesn't work.

Time traveling to the future and past would become part of your present and near future.
You would vanish from other people's present, they would simply say that you have traveled into past or future. You are not here.
Yes, but philosophies say that, when you come from the future, the world from which you came, should be a result from the time into which you travel. From this, physical traveling would be equal to the trips in dreams. You can watch, but you cannot touch and do.

If you were a replica from yourself, you will not make a mess from your own future.
If you cannot change things, there is not much your replica can do in the past or future.
And that's not all. People from outside your origin are not allowed to pay any attention to your replica. If they do, the time from where you came, is interfered. You cannot exist and return.

Einstein said, that time traveling shifts you into another time dimension. According to him, current time has endless amounts of time dimensions. Things which takes place in one dimension, do not necessarily happen in another dimension.
When you travel with Einstein, you cannot come back to the time dimension, from where you left. Your original dimension continues to go on without you.

When you look at the things we currently know about time ... for sure ... we live in the present, and we cannot travel in time. 
You have to discover 2nd and 3rd components from the time. Until your discovery, the function of 3rd light wave component was an unexplained miracle, much like many things in time.
Well, Jack How about it ?
You think, that it is impossible to find out the components of time ?
I think that .... started quake researches from almost nothing. Managed to find out quite a lot ... can't say much in forehand. Possible that something could be found.
Or then not.

The missing components of time could make it possible to travel in time, without earlier related present-past problems.
Like the traveling is made in Men in Black III. Movie is based on one vision about the time traveling.
Terminator movie series presents various visions from time traveling. 

- - Enhanced Einstein - -

One possible time system could be much like Einstein's time dimension system. System would not have endless amounts of time dimensions. When you travel in time, you got to create a new time dimension. It would begin from the time into which you travel. It would either continue to go on or die after you leave it. Creation of the brand new dimension is quite a big job ... some assistance from heathen gods probably needed. Not very likely to get very many alternative dimensions from them.
A snapshot with some limitations, would be easier to get.
Good cause could help.
For a very good cause, you could ask, if our current time would be shifted.
You could go to backwards only. Not necessarily very far to the past ... fast forwarded time is needed for moves to the future.
Yaps. In time dimension theorem, future does not exist until it is lived. Biblical Genesis and observations from our world hints, that we live in an uncontrolled random system. 
System where things, which takes place right now, creates the future ... present creates the future.

Adam and Eve ate the forbidden apple when God was away. They ate it against his will.
When Cain killed Abel, God found it out later.
Rotational fields and Universal Exports are good examples from the things, which supports stand alone random system.
In Bible, book of life talks against random system.
Think that it is not said, when your death is booked. Possible that the second booking is made, when you die.
Story about Cain and Abel would be difficult, without real-time death markings. How God can get angry about the death, which is in his books and he already knows.
Jack. How about your gods and powers, do they know the future ?
Sometimes think that they do. When I for example slip from the right track, demands for corrections and compensations comes afterwards. Responses from hostile activities against me comes afterwards, too.

Although you could jump from one dimension to another, things you do in one dimension never affects to another dimensions.

Yes. I do not pray. I go to Ghost Council. Pay a visit to sprits, that powers DPS systems.

Star Wars, Star Treks and others are no longer sci-fi adventures. Just common action movies, with enhanced reality.
Times are changing. Change is closer than ever before.

Our youngest listeners world is very different from ours.
It is almost inevitable. Their world is either better or poorer than ours. Santa and Ghosts targets to the creation of a better and more civilized world.
After Roman empire ... West Rome collapsed, Europe fell into deep recession. Recovery began at 1500's. Arts started to blossom, flow of new science and inventions began.

Khrrmm ... everyone ... if visible stars are at certain distance from the black sun, Sagittarius A. is it possible that all star systems have earth like planets at the same distance.
Of course.

I have an interesting theory about the connection between an orgasm and successful ... sometimes most unfortunate ... intercourse, would you like to hear it ?
If your theory is about simultaneous orgasms, it doesn't automatically lead to pregnancy. Know that for sure.
I was thinking, that it is not possible to get pregnant without orgasm. Orgasm can be sign from an attempt to cast the life.
Orgasm is a strong emotional stage.

If this is true, Gods are no longer in charge from giving life to humans and animals. Or what does the wizard, master of witch craft  say ?
It would be selfish and stupid to say, that humans would cast  life to embryos. There are quite a many things, which hints, that humans cannot cast the spell of life on their own. I think, that you should think orgasm more like a special kind of pray. Pray with what you request life from some superior force.
Like Christian God.
If you are Christian, Jewish God is the only superior force, you believe.

If and when car has automatic gearbox, like Immo, Van and Corolla, box chooses shift points in everyday usage.

Around 30 minutes per disc.

Yes. Ripped most with three computers. Used two for ripping and one for scanning covers. Ripping is simple. You just put the disc in drive and wait until the program finishes. Scanning needs more attention and time. Broken discs takes a long time. The ripping and scanning took little over week ... as primary activity during sick leave.

How do you fix broken DVD disc ?
First you wash and clean the disc as well as you can. With soap and hand-warm water.  After disc is dry, you copy the disc with CD burner software into ISO file. Before copy, you disable error messages and retries from the burner software. After ISO file is finished you extract the ISO file onto HDD or burn it onto new disc. In the final DVD copy, unreadable parts are messy, but the copy or new DVD disc is usually fully functional. 

If broken disc is very poor the creation of ISO copy takes hours and the players crash in the broken parts. If the drive does not recognize the disc, it cannot be fixed.

These repairs can be done with ImageBurn freeware burner. System with freeware, open source programs is that, when you take the program into everyday use, you are not short of money, you make a donation to the authors of the program. The new versions and bug fixes are free to you. Underlying licenses usually prevent the free of charge usage in businesses.

Was there many broken discs in the collection  ?
Few. Not very many. 4 discs went to trashcan, 10 needed earlier described fixing.

How much disk space the 350 box collection needed  ?
Had two empty 1 TB disks for the collection. They were not enough. It took almost 3 TB space on disk.

Media Players will increase the sales of Music, Porn and Mainstream movies.
So much easier to review ... listen music and watch movies.
People who buys a lot and have big collections, will  love it. Players in here are prototypes. The actual players will be better and easier to use than the ones we are using.

When does the Blue Ray support come ?
Player has slots for Blue Ray drive. You can watch Blue Ray discs right away. In media player, cd-dvd-bd drive is a cheap spare part. After it goes broke, you don't have to break your expensive audio video system, with new player. You buy a new drive and keep the old player. Cd-dvd player goes always broke before the system. In living room A/V systems looks and compatibility are important things.

How do you improve footage for 2k or 4k format ?
Unless you do the job manually, frame-by-frame basis, an attempt to improve footage does not usually result into major improvement. In batch processing improved quality needs that you prepare, resize and finalize all frames in the footage. First you modify frames brightness, contrast, intensity, sharpness-softness, color temperature, etc. Then you resize them with BrResize or alike. Sometimes finalization with some smart blur tool, results into better picture quality. Usually picture modification before resize gives better results than modification after resize. For the best possible, you have to modify picture before and after resize.

What is text base ?
It is new kind of dataBase. Derivate from WebBase which is used in Remember Me. Couldn't get lists from the contents of trash discs from Halloween hacks, earlier hacks and other disasters into traditional dataBase. The dataBase programs ceased to work correctly. The removed files were not the same, which were marked for deletion. Had to invent something for getting the big 1TB discs empty. 

Text base suits to the new usages of the dataBases. You can add multiple keywords into one field. If you for example have a porn clip, where blond and brunette are in action, you can add both Blond and Brunette in the hair color field. Then you can add names of all known female performers into FemalePerformer field. Male performers into MalePerformer field and so on. You do not need complicated xRef systems. When you make queries to the base, query tool skips the records which misses the requested field.

Textbase can have fixed and variable length fields. Then it can have stepped variable length fields. You can for example have file name fields, which are 32, 64, 96 or 260 characters long. These fields have End-Of-Field markers, which are checked when you read the data. I have used Vertical bar as EOF marker. First you check the default length for eof marker. If you cannot find it, you search the marker from the record. Usually it is a good idea to put variable length fields to the end of the record. Keep the fixed part in the beginning.

One form of base allows you add only selected fields to the record. Just like in HTML, this section from the record needs fieldname=data entries. In movie player file list there are only 4 required fields. Record Id, directory name, Disk and Storage ids. In player program there is property list system, which shows the optional fields.

A single textbase file can have multiple records. The porn-movie player has box, disc, file splitter, clip, chapter and volume/brightness/contrast/saturation adjustment records in one bigger file. The system is much the same with Music player.

By default all data is stored as ANSI text. Text, numbers and bits. Easy to view and maintain the data with common text editors.

When you write field definition system, you write a thing, for the thing itself.  You and your head get messed every now and then. Then you have to find a way to compromise demands for speed and functionality.  Usage of  text files with rather flexible contents, sets an additional demand for reading and checking the input. You have to keep breaks, without breaks the core will become a mess. You have to think almost every command and variable you use in the core. Took over a month to get first functional version from the third and final core.

You planned old games for brand new computer ?

Media player computer is a replacement for CD / DVD / Blue ray player. Primaries are in music and movies. Media Player computer cannot have big fans. Noise, energy consumption and heat generation reduces the maximum CPU and GPU speeds.

Specs for Media Player's gaming interface have an upgraded 3D interface. None of the existing games can take advantage from performance boost, the new 3D system will give to games. Upgrade is HW based, if the interface and media players come true, new native Media Player games will be better than all existing games. Game developers can use the performance boost how-ever they wish. Into better graphics, better 3D models, better AI, they can also increase the number of moving 3D objects per screen.

You cannot get the upgrade with upgraded version from Windows and Direct X ?

No. The upgrade is electric, it needs changes to physical graphic cards and chipsets. Without changes to underlying HW the upgrade results to performance penalty. Same goes to game consoles, Open GL and other non-windows 3D systems. All 3D systems use the same chipsets. The upgrade is a layer and fast memory space, where you can store static parts from your 3D world. Later you can copy the layer into display buffer. Draw moving and changing objects to it. Currently each frame is drawn to an empty display buffer. Lots of time is wasted for drawing the static parts. New system copies the static parts into buffer in fractions of milliseconds. Electric copy is an awful lot faster than programmed CPU/GPU oriented copy.

Is it very complicated ?

Complicated system would result into performance penalty. With upgrade you can get 30 - 50 percent boost to your game. The screening system gets three new function calls. Then you must check and possibly re-organize screening system from your game engine's main loop. 

New graphic cards will work with old 3D games just like before. But without changes into main loop, you cannot get the promised performance boost. The upgrade benefits games and animated movies, which uses 3D models. You got to have moving objects or moving camera ( player ) before the upgrade is useful.

Don't know. Reached the current level after I had written programs for 12 years. After that improvements in programming skills have been rather modest. The original versions from ATS Mines, ATS Plummer and ATS Battleship are from 1996, they work, but they are still quite quite a messes. Had to rewrite most from the underlying programs. ATS Sudoku is based on the program I wrote in 2008, most from the ATS version is copied from the 2008 version.

With your subconscious mind. When so, the usage should go by  need, worries and thoughts. It is the way your body prioritizes things.
