Brothers
Melodrama

Brothers is a story about young couple with two kids.
Wife is at home, while husband is fighting in Afghanistan.

A sad story about housewife, her soldier husband and his younger brother.

Grace and Sam live in a small U.S. town. The couple have two lovely daughters. And Sam has a scoundrel-like Tommy-brother. Tommy was just released from prison.

Sam is an officer, and he is assigned to a mission in Afghanistan. While on the mission his helicopter is shut down. Sam and another soldier from the same U.S. town are the only survivors of the accident. Talebans capture and torture both men.

In the home front nobody knows about the survival, and Sam is declared death. Grace finds the death very hard to believe. She would know, if Sam would have died.

But Sam is not there, and Grace have to adapt her life to the new situation. She slowly makes friends with Sam's younger brother Tommy.

After few months, U.S. troops conquer the Taleban camp. Sam is released and he comes back home. The torturing has made some changes to Sam's character. His home coming isn't very happy or glamorous event.

Children prefer Tommy from Sam. On younger daughter's birthday party, the elder sister causes an awful family crisis, which eventually ends quite sadly.

The movie is told to you by the means of melodrama.

Brothers is a good choice for the friends of drama, everyday stories and so called quality movies in general. The movie is filled with excellent acting performances.
