Space Waves is an experimental
record, made for outdoor performances.
By the time the record was made,
Boys' sound was very unique and rare.
"Remember those times very well. We had exactly 13 songs we could play in the concerts. There weren't any other songs and arrangements we could have played. They sounded so different from the native Space Waves songs." Space Waves is a non-commercial record. Non-commercial does not mean, that the album is / was not popular. Quite a many of the songs have resemblances with non-commercial music. It means also, that the album has never been available in shops. What's my name ? Our history is very short. The band Boys of Putworks was founded for playing this album, in the spring 2008. When Jack writes melodies, they are always credited with the name Putworks. So when we started to make music for this non-commercial album, we took ourselves a name Boys of Putworks. Album was very popular, and the name Boys of Putworks was tattooed to us. Couldn't change the hastily invented name anymore. |

The woman on the front cover is my old assistant Heta.
The woman on the left is Tiffany, and the woman on the right is
Zara
Names of the wild fans on the centerfold ( lower pictures ) are unknown.

Space Waves album was released in the web and wap in May 2009.
In February 2010, the album was benchmarked, because of the billing
purposes
Almost a year after the release the songs had still over 10 million new
listeners per month.

More about the names
The album was named and tributed to the lost dream, Space
City.
The name name points to the music, too. The notes in melodies of the album have
big spaces in between.
So that solo guitar like Pulsing Pad have enough time to play the echoed sounds
you hear in the album.
The Putworks name also has a very special meaning.
When you translate the name in to Jack's native language, and come back to English
with the translation,
the composer of our songs is not Put-Works, he is Fuck-Works.
? All songs are composed, arranged by Putworks, and played by Boys of Putworks .
