Still much do with the audio shelves ?
Progressing all the time. Think, that I finally got my work place ready. At least rather happy with the current layout. Easy to install and modify wiring. And in use or work everything is near and easy access. Sound scheme is also rather good.You start packing after that. Happy with the competition ?
Yes and no. It works, just like I have told. No volunteers for our great "All 500 million eyes on us" competition. But the bank accounts are not yet open.Think that it will end soon ?
Don't know. Hopefully.If the competition continues over the summer, you give up from the Christmas and Chinese New Year ... and this year will be the hottest and most disastrous ever.

You are building a multimedia center.
Yes. Tested DLNA and network wiring, decided to abandon it.All computers in here can play 1920x1080 videos in the second display, without difficulties. Decided to connect secondary displays to big screen. Using the display only, gives better control to playback. With proper user interface is is easier to search and play videos and music. Planned to buy a wireless keyboard and mouse for controlling the multimedia computers.
Using the spare for mobile web feeder as primary computer for the center. It has been in the closet ever since I installed the programs into it. Laptops are quiet. There is one big USB disk, where I copy DVD, BD, music, music videos and others. USB disc can be used also with other computers. Playing the data from hard disk keeps the players and original discs in better condition. No region code limits either - All multimedia computers have AnyDVD running in the background. Possible, that I upgrade the program to newer version, which has complete Blue Ray support. Current supports only DVD's and CD's.
Is it difficult to use ?
No. Just the same as it is, when you play DVD's on computer. Sound systems are not yet ready. Still searching a simple way to intergrate multi-media system into the music making systems. Currently there are quite a many buttons you have to press before the analog four channel surround sound comes out.

Yes and no. It happened few days before Finns launched Easter attack. They warned about the Easter time a week before the attack. Once again writing brand new laws and instructions for me - only.My powers always protects me. Usually I am fully prepared and armed, when the actual hit from Finns, Swedes and others come. I think, that after my powers found out, what Finns, Swedes, Midgets and others are doing ... once again ... they decided to put an end to the high time, and the side-effect. For real and forever.

Yes. Bought 1 TB disc for the system and wireless keyboard and mouse today. The Double layer DVD files consumes awful lot of disc space. Don't have many movies here, but I run out of disc space yesterday. The same disc gets all multimedia files. Music, photos and clip-arts, too.

What are you doing.
The same I have been doing for few days now. Copying movies to hard disk. Had to take a break yesterday. My 12 year old anyDvd refused to copy the latest DVD releases to disk. Had to buy a new version with full Blue Ray and HD support. Paid the voluntary license fees from the freeware programs - Notepad ++, FileZilla and Image Burn - during the same break. Use them so much, FileZilla and Notepad ++ everyday. In site maintenance. Image Burn with all burnings.Still over 20 left. One copy lasts around 30 minutes. Found and bought the Black Swan parody, whilst waiting. The Dancer has been very popular. Then I bought Will I Am's "All eyes on us" Audio-CD.
You haven't said a word about Rocky and Fantom Seducer.
Rocky is a parody ... Rocky is too stupid, for presenting the movie in Boys blog ... for the public. Had to buy the original version from Avengers, for getting better touch to the jokes in it.Fantom Seducer has similar kind of problems than Rocky, it is too hot. Nothing wrong with movies.

Don't know. There would be over 500 audio Cd:s, C-cassettes and Vinyl:s. Waiting for the ripping.Still far from the critical limit.

No. It leaks water inside. Just like it happens sometimes, when you swim. For some strange reason cannot get it out, or dry. Right away. Very annoying feeling.Or in plane, which changes altitude. You think Finns, Swedes and others will compensate the trillion euro boost ?

Remember Me is popular. There aren't other web games like it. Why ?
It is complicated computer program. Not very easy to write. It is driven with nestled arrays. When you set and add groups to game you make changes to the second level arrays. When player makes adjustments and own custom boards, changes go to the 3rd level array structure. The levels two and three steer the primary level arrays. There aren't many people in the world, who can write nestled logical array systems.Without nestled arrays you can never reach Remember Me. Nestled arrays makes almost everything possible : Daily additions, groups + new groups and custom boards, which are equal to the default boards.

No. The AnyDVD cost 50 euros. Wireless keyboard / mouse system was 20 euros. One 1TB hard disk with USB 2.0 box is 70 euros. USB 2.0 box with cheapest available disc is already fast enough for Blue Ray playback. Into one 1 TB disc you can store little over 100 Double Layer DVD movies.There was only one movie, which does not play well from hard disc.
AnyDVD is essential for the person who buys movies from internet. It removes all region restrictions. You can buy Getaway 2013 from Australia - with code 4 - and play it with European - region code 2 - DVD drive.

Recovering very slowly.What have you been doing ?
I have been copying movies to hard disks. Almost finished with the big 30 disc set I bought last weekend. Decided to buy a backup disk for the files. In the case of disk failure, the copying the stuff back to hard disks takes days. Failures, which causes data losses, are rather common.Whilst waiting for the copies to end I have been adding parts to the computer cases, I bought few weeks ago.
How about the raider of the lost Hotel. What went wrong ?
The second apparel consumes batteries too quickly. Suits for cars, where you can get continuous power. When you do GPS tracking, the screen is on-line and the processor is active all the time. Batteries die in less than 30 minutes. In cities and tourism the 1st apparel is better, battery lasts longer.Blue ray is dead ?
Blue ray project is dead. Got the replacement for the broken drive. It was also broke. Failed to return the second broken drive. Knew right away - from the way it was delivered - that it would be broke. Holy alliance between Finns and UPS or US-shit was so visible.But you do have a second Blue Ray drive.
No I don't. After I noticed that it does not fit into Laptop's I bought an external case for it. Noticed that the second drive had vanished during the time I was first in Hungary.Someone stole it ?

What has happened ?
I was putting parts to boxes and watched new movies at the same time. In the afternoon I noticed, that I cannot hear a thing with another ear. Shut down computers and went out for a walk. Recovered a little.Would be better if the competition ended now.

You said that three file copies failed with XP SP3. Any chances that there was a virus in your copy ?
Don't know. If so, the OS was OEM for Dell computers. If there is a virus, it is in all Dell Computers, which were sold with Windows XP SP3 for operating system. The copy I have is for US markets.The spare for Mobile Web Feeder uses the same OS copy without problems. It has only one fixed hard disk. Others are more or less external. Desktops have two to five physical hard disk units.
What did SP 3 do ?
It varied from failed move to move. First time took place long time ago, don't remeber how it went. Second time I thought, that I had moved files into some subdirectory. Move took all the time, but the destination directory was empty. The third and last time SP3 deleted all files from the source directory. It returned back to idle screen right after the file deletion.You didn't upgrade the SP3 to a newer OS ?
Decided to downgrade to "known-to-be-free-from-this-fault" operating systems. 80% sure that the latter OS versions have the same fault.+ + + Maybe you wanna have one of these + + +
There are pictures from the multimedia center. This is how it looks like when choose the stored movie to play.
In the background you see Windows. In the front XXX Dancer has been chosen to play.
There is currently app 50 full length DVD movies in the media center computer.
The media center laptop uses the big screen as it's primary display.On the table there are wireless keyboard and mouse for controlling the computer.
There aren't devices with what you could move mouse by pointing the control to some point on the screen.
After you have chosen Black Swan and Natalie to the play, you enlarge the player to full screen.
The laptop player is hidden into closet below the screen. On the right there is Blue Ray player.
The laptop is adjusted to i1080 screen. = 1920 x 1080 in computer's display properties.Behind and above the player there is a higher box for selecting the display sources.
Button 1 takes pictures from the laptop.
With Button 2 you take the picture and voice from web feeder to the big screen and audio system.
With this button you watch and listen You Tube videos, Sex In Space and other A/V materia from the web.
Other buttons are not yet assigned to computers.The system is very simple to install. All you need is audio and video cables between the screen and laptop.
Then you need to set double screen mode for big screen. These settings varies from computer to computer.
Then you have to set screen resolution for the big screen.If you use your laptop in web browsing, you can watch web stuff with the same system and computer.
In multimedia full sized laptops are unbeatable. They are quiet.
They have enough display and computing power for displaying HDMI video.Not necessarily very cheap, but in return you get also embedded movie players from web pages to big screen.
Web view and laptop's own BD / DVD drive do not need hard disc system, in this case AnyDVD is optional.The total cost of the system was 177 or 307 euros.
Blue Ray station would add cost with 50 - 100 euros.

It gives you quite a lot. It is fully functional and easy system. When you look the prices of the TV sets and Audio systems it is not that expensive addition to your system. Even if you had to converters to the system. They cost app 10 to 20 euros each. Regardless of the type you need. Yes. It was in one box. It didn't fit into laptops' ultra bay slots. It is exactly the same drive than the non-functional external drive. Tested the second drive after I found it. It works and reads Blue Ray discs.And you got two broken expensive and external Blue Ray drives in row.
The bulk drive I bought from Germany was in sealed bag, when I opened the box yesterday. The replacement for the first broken drive was delivered to me with another nasty Easter greeting, I got from Finns, Swedes and others.

Sad news. SP3 was the reason for non-functional networking. After the downgrade - no problems with internal network.
So there is illegal spy ware in Ms Windows XP SP3 and later.
Do not know that for sure, but SP3 has risen to minimum OS requirement in almost all new commercially manufactured software. Possibilities for embedded spy ware rose to the sky high levels.
The minimum requirements ... The same system they are using with Web browsers.

Reading, writing and checking data from hard disks. The old around 10 years old multimedia disks are still the fastest. In use they are usually 30% to 50% faster than all others. Made total disaster from the partially broken multimedia disk last weekend. Three left.Currently re-constructing the new 1 Terabyte video disks. It takes around 12 hours to copy data in and out from those fully loaded disks. Cannot watch anything at the moment.

No. Ear is like it has been throughout the May. I have returned to movies. Got the multimedia laptop back to online last night.

Rather happy. It can play the 1920 x 1080 videos. The program I have been using for playback could be better. It is a bit clumsy with the ripped DVD's. Otherwise it is the most convenient media player or apparel I have used. Playback does not stop, when there is dirt on the disk. It is also easy to select DVD's for play. Tested all available systems.The competition is not yet over.
Haven't checked the accounts. But I do not have invitations for picking up the stolen money.

You are buying new Mobile web-feeder ?
Not necessarily. I have been saving my ear from noise, use the mobile web feeder for site keeping. The current laptops are a bit slow for running drawing editor. They get stuck all the time, with 14 years old Corel 10. Desktops, even the slowest and oldest P3 works fine. In Remember Me card creation. The mobile sound card does not work with the current feeder, either.

Are those performance issues serious ?
No. All you you need is short, small delay when you draw the line. After that you lose the touch, and you cannot continue anymore. After the delay, you always go to wrong direction.Drawing with mouse is at least as difficult than with pencil. There are some utilities with what you can manually create the line and attach the pencil to it afterwards. They are so clumsy and slow, that you cannot use them in drawing.
Those LapTops are not the only modern miracles, you have met recently ?
Well, how would like to have a computer with a PCI-e graphic card and slot. Usually it is fast. But sometimes it gets stuck for over 30 minutes. Took quite a long, before I realized that these long breaks belong to the nature. During the 30 minute break the computer is working as usual, and eventually it will come out from the complete stuck, with an updated screen.Went to coffee once and forgot to re-boot the computer. When I got back the screen was ready. Nowadays when I know this, I do not automatically reset the computer, when it gets stuck.
What kind of Laptops you need for media player system.
A laptop, which can play 1920x1080 resolutions on external screen. The spare for web-feeder has proven to be handy player. You can hot-plug displays in and out from it. Not possible with desktops. Desktops need permanent connections to screen. And both screens should be on-line all the time. I was thinking, that if I buy third laptop, one laptop would go to web use. For watching videos from web.In principle could use one laptop for ripped and web videos both. But then came the safety and constant hackings. Decided that media player is not good for watching video from the web. It needs a connection to internal network.
The actual demand for Blue Ray is an ATA-66 computer with 3D graphics card from late 90's. ATA-66 is fast enough for blue ray playback. Then you need a 3d graphics card, which can unpack the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 files. Then you need player program, which takes advantage from HW-based decoding or acceleration. USB-2 connection is needed when you use memory cards or external USB hard disks.
XP SP2 hasn't cleaned and cleared your hard disks.
No. You got to have Windows XP SP3 or later, before you can get this feature to your computer. I have been using and testing the computers which cleaned the disks, with XP service pack 2. With XP SP2 they have worked fine. Haven't used XP for file copies and moves before. Long time ago, when I tested SP2, it had small problems with file I/O. Windows 2000 only. Everything went fine, until the day I forgot to install 48-bit add-on hard disk drivers to another Jack 3 spare. Thought that only Windows 9x needs those add-on drivers. Unfortunately they all need them and the spare ruined contents from one 160 GB disk.Those new computers looks like total and dangerous disasters.

I have few computers, which can be started to DOS, which came with Windows 98SE. Use it for launching utilities. In music world there are still lots of DOS based programs. Don't have any ISA computers. Cannot install old ISA card to the system. Got to have a PCI sound card. My own old SB AWE32 ISA cards were stolen 14 years ago. Think that I have one SB Live and driver set, which can simulate old ISA cards. So that you can get ISA compatible MIDI port to a computer and DOS / Windows 3.1.
