System scraps 200 to 300 kg from weight. Optimal mixture reduces required size of fuel tank and weight. With 1 liter average consumption car needs 10 liter fuel tank for 1 000 km range. Weight falls around 50 kg.

In order to balance spring system, you got to push car down with air resistance, for getting suspension lower and stiffer area. Then you get into troubles with too low ground clearance and almost non-existing suspension.

High speed suspension has as long or longer range for possible suspension events than low speed suspension. Coils are chosen so, that suspension starts to work properly after speed is over 200 km/h or so. At low city speeds Ferrari, Lamborghini and others miss suspension.

Hydraulic suspension has the same progression than coils.  But you can adjust the suspension's stiffness so, that it matches used speed, road or requested comfort. On common highway cruising suspension can be very soft, just like it was in older full sized American cars. My Caprice is not as soft as the older US cars. Suspension needs hardness, when you drive fast or on smaller curved and bumped roads. IMMO has CPU controlled stiffness system, CPU seems to override manual normal-fast suspension setting. C5 misses XMs comfort / cruise setting for suspension.

How's your media player doing ?
Just fine. Never watched as much movies as nowadays. It's so handy. You put the player on and choose the movie from directory tree. Discs and player are never dirty, broke or lost. It has rolled around 30 000 hours without problems. Player has around 7TB DVD quality movies. It takes around 75 days to watch all movies once. BD quality would rise the required disk space to around 50TB. Player grows slowly all the time.

These proto's will get one blue ray drive and four slots for 2.5 disks. Both BD drive and disks can be changed in fly, even then when computer is running. The board and chipset supports s-Ata hot plugging.  The swap disk system costs 160 euros.

Proto has one internal disk for operating system and caching the ripped discs. All 6 on-board sata connecters will be occupied.

No one is nowadays manufacturing internal Blue Ray drives for laptops. These drives are the ones for media player and also Home Theater PC. The new drives at eBay and other places were manufactured almost 10 years ago. Blue Ray disc is exclusive to movies. In the player proto's BD drives will be accompanied by common, cheap DVD drive.  Media player computer is a blue ray player, it doesn't use external drives. If Blue Ray would not have failed, BD drive would cost the same as DVD drive. 20 to 40 euros.

Both has 3.2 GHz i5-3470 for LGA1155 socket and Q77 chipset. Chipset has support for only 32 GB RAM. Newer i5 misses XP support, but it supports 64GB RAM. In turbo mode CPU can reach.3.6 GHz. I have tested 3.0 and 3.4 GHz processors, they were unstable. 2.8 GHz is so far the fastest good CPU. Intel introduced it's first 3.6 GHz CPU 15 years ago. Interesting to see how these two desktops run.

There is older Audigy RX, which has banks and full MIDI system. It is still in production. It can be installed to Windows XP. 

Gamers Dream

Do you really need those gamers dreams ?
When you play 3D games, CPU and Graphic card operates with full 100% power all the time. In common usage computer runs with 30% to 50% power. Computer, you use for playing games, needs more efficient cooling system than common PC. 

PC for gaming needs also bigger Power Supply Unit than common PC. CPUs and GPUs power consumption in PC with rather new graphics is over 300 W. When you add other electric systems to these two, the power demand grows to over 400W. In common usage capacitors handles peak powers. But when you play 3D games with full force, capacitors become useless and PSU must provide all from the required power. When PC runs with full power all the time, there aren't idle moments, when capacitors could recharge themselves.

You need a brand new PC for playing latest games.
No. When you buy a new up-to-date PC, you can play new games with full graphics one to four years. After that PC falls below recommended system. You can still play new games, but not with full graphics. In game setup there is usually a screen, where you can adjust details, shadows, and others. Versions for consoles have fixed settings, they are adjusted to the console version and it's fixed qualities. PC version from new game has almost always the best graphics, AI and so on.

New processors have two frequencies, which one goes to games ? 
The higher frequency is valid for gaming. During gaming the CPU runs with highest frequency. When the PC is used for games, you might want to upgrade fan to more powerful than you get with the box. Dust and time weakens fan's cooling power.

Hi-Lo frequencies are a range where the CPU operates.  In common desktop usage CPU uses the lowest frequency. When CPU load grows, frequency starts to grow. Intel hasn't announced the load, where the CPU starts to increase the frequency. 

The intended new media player desktop had 2.9 GHz base and 3.8 GHz maximum. System is rather simple automated over clocking system, where the over clocking voltage can be adjusted freely. CPU is obviously tested and verified to last and work with the higher frequency and voltage.

So i5 2900-3800 is just as good in gaming than i5 3400-3800 ?
Yes. In CPU speeds these two are a match in gaming. Number of cores, threads and bus speeds can make a difference. They vary with extension number.

How much RAM game computer needs ?
Auch. Memory demands varies by the game and game engine. I'd say, that game needs 2 to 4 times more RAM than graphic card has. Then you need 1 to 2 GB for operating system and file cache. If you have 2GB graphics, you might survive with 6GB RAM. Games load the whole 3D world into RAM and visible parts in real time to graphic card. In RAM you have only one copy from each texture. Vector model size is a match to graphic card size. Memory, which is needed for game variables, is not very big. Game executables are also rather small.

If the game stops every now and then, and HDD light starts to blink at the same time, you are suffering from lack of RAM. My Morrowind project died ... got temporarily suspended ... because of the lack of graphic memory. Too many textures loaded into card at the same time, colors started to vanish and change on random basis.

How does iCore work ?
When CPU gets a command, it chooses a free core, which performs the command. Output is difficult. You got to get the input commands in correct order out.  If one core performs long i/o command other cores must wait until long i/o command is fully performed. Faults in sync causes random blue screen crashes. In Assembler the cores show as one CPU. Sync system slows down the CPU, so that  4 core 3.2 GHz CPU is not a match to 12.8 GHz single core CPU. In multi core CPU, sync system has big meaning in actual computing and gaming power. Nominally slow CPU with properly optimized sync can beat faster CPU with big numbers.

My laptops have duo core CPUs, fastest is 64 bit 2 x 2.8 = 5.6 GHz, in my opinion it's rather near 32 bit 2.8 GHz single core CPU. Interested to see how iCore 4  will run.

Number of threads per core is rather insignificant in speed. They have meaning in multitasking. Multitasking needs many systems. When you have only one task, this task can use all cores. When you have more tasks than cores, you choose the core by availability, as described above. Then you need at least one system for handling situation, where core count is bigger or equal to task count. Typically multitasking is handled by operating system. In order to get advantage from CPU level multitasking you need OS, which takes advantage from CPU support to multitasking.

Without OS support to multitasking, CPU works as described above. There is only one task CPU performs, commands are divided to cores by availability. 

Your Fujitsu-Siemens-Nokia was available with i5-3570 and i7-3770 3.4 GHz CPU, what was the difference ?
Both had 4 cores, i7 had bigger maximum frequency. Often mistakenly thought, that iCore number would refer to number of cores and speed. i5 can have 2,4 or 6 cores. i7 and i9 can have 4,6 or 8 cores. You must always check core count from box or specs. 

When you check games recommended systems, you check core count for CPU, core count and maximum frequency forms the required CPU. CPU can be i3, i5, i7 or i9, these numbers are insignificant. When recommendation is for 4 core CPU, 6 core CPU can be slightly slower than recommended speed. 2 core should be slightly faster. 2 core gets advantage from simpler and faster sync.

Oldest iCores might miss some required command interfaces. These limitations are game specific. There are newer AVX, AVX2, F16C, FMA and BMI command sets, which might be needed in some games.

i7 had bigger cache and better integrated graphics. Cache is a place, where CPU and OS keep command lists and some variables. L2 cache is the fastest and L3 2nd fastest memory storage in computer.

Integrated graphics has no meaning, when you have PCIe graphics card. Older boards have separate chip for integrated graphics. In older CPUs cache names are L1 and L2. Bigger cache means nowadays, that CPU is better in multitasking and with big executables.

Both i5 and i7 had also same bus speed 5 GT/s. Bus speed is the speed, with what computer transfers data in and out from CPU. In past the bus speed was announced in MHz. Not in my knowledge, what the new GT/s actually means. 

Both were also 64 bit processors. This means that smallest transferred data size is 64 bits or 8 bytes. In most cases 32 bit CPU is better or faster than 64 bit CPU.  One character needs 7 bits, 1 or 2 bytes, most common range for integer numbers and currencies fits to 32 bits or 4 bytes. Pixel for RGB picture and video fits to 3 bytes, RGBA goes to 4 bytes Decimal or fractional numbers need 8 bytes. With an exception of 3D games and models, they use 4 byte fractional numbers.

2 x 32 bit would be better than 64 bit system. Transfer of 64 bits takes more time than 32 bit data transfer. Although you talk about 32 and 64 bit bandwidth, bits are typically transferred with one-by-one principle. So that 64 bit system needs twice as much time as 32 bit system for one data transfer.

Media Player bus system is made with multiple wires, so that 32 bit system would have 32 electric wires for data transfers. All 32 bits would be transferred with one clock cycle. System is one way to give you a chance to boost the speed of Media Player computer. A/C wiring is another way to boost the data transfer performance.

Why are game makers assisting Intel, with high CPU demands, which are not true. Doing damage to themselves ?
I do not know. Maybe they are making games for Sony and Microsoft consoles, with good contracts. There are those interfaces, with what you can make your game incompatible with older CPU versions.

Live in a belief, that honesty pays. When AMD fell behind Intel in CPU speeds, it started to use reference numbers from it's CPUs. This CPU matches X.X Ghz Intel CPU. These references were not true. Couldn't be. New computer is already so expensive, that people don't usually buy it just like that.

But you are promoting old 2nd hand PCs ?
Live in a belief, that honesty pays. There aren't awful many 2nd hand desktops, which would suit or could be modded to gaming. The ones I purchased were the only cheaper PCs in local 2nd hand markets. Other cheaper iCore desktops would have needed CPU upgrades. You cannot buy 2nd hand 4 and 6 core CPUs with pocket money. Costs systematically over 50 euros in eBay. Almost as much as cheapest new 4 core CPUs. After 2009 recession people have been tight on money. Not that easy get funding for gamers dream from the parents. Typical second hand iCore comes from business usage. Web browser and business PC doesn't need much speed and memory. Found these two accidentally, when I was searching 2nd hand box for new Media Player desktop.

Could you increase the speed new CPUs ?
If you optimize syncs from your CPUs, you can get quite a lot of speed to them. Could get 3.2 Ghz 4 core to a match for 10 GHz single core. Such 4 core computer is like a rocket, when compared to 3.0 GHz single core computer.

You can benchmark sync system's efficiency, just like you benchmark CPUs in general. Syncs efficiency shows in the number of instructions CPU can make per second. Each instruction you use for sync, is away from external instruction count. 

Traditionally you benchmark CPUs raw speed, mathematical, text conversion and display update capabilities. When you benchmark computers, these 4 are accompanied with RAM and HDD tests. You check reading speed, writing speed and search times from both. HDD tests are made for each installed hard disk.

Is Nokia a joke in that Fujitsu-Siemens-Nokia name ?
No. Nokia manufactured PCs until it almost defaulted in early 1990s. The lossy PC manufacturing was sold to Fujitsu. PC manufacturing was the primary reason for company's financial turmoil.

It was for original Media Player, which was supposed to replace CD-DVD-BD player only. Checked 2.8 - 3.8 GHz four core i7 CPU for the current project. It is the fastest you can get to LGA 1155 socket with less than 3.0 GHz base frequency.

Game Computers

Game computer, which was built after 2010, had much more longer lifespan, than you said. Almost 10 years.
Familiarized myself with multi core system after this throw. In the past new games needed newer computer. Looked liked, that nothing had changed after 2010. Recommended systems were for few years old PCs. 

In order to keep the maximum long lifespan, you must take care of older PCs cooling. Buy and install new cooler right after PC starts to crash to overheating. Game PC burns easily to lack of cooling. It doesn't last awful many overheat crashes.

You should never increase low speed over certain-to-be stable speed for CPU design. Such CPU is almost worthless.

Over clocking is not dangerous.
If the CPU is tested and built for over clocking, speed up is safe and crash free. In the past self made over clocked PCs didn't last long. They were unstable. Old boards have often over clock menu in BIOS settings. Last year's media servers can be over clocked on fly, with an installed Windows program.

R&D and PR department are not talking to each other.
The system for two frequencies is explained at Intel's web page. Some background data from over clocking and CPUs is needed. Turbo mode for higher, maximum frequency is distracting term or name. 

Might want to add adjustment for maximum speed to BIOS. So that, if there is a speed related conflict, computer doesn't always crash, when the load-speed system grows. Could use those electro-mechanic switches for adding few max speed options to system. They are crash and loss free switches. Good replacements for old physical pins and on-board mechanic switches.

Might also want to add aggressive, normal and moderate speed system parameter to BIOS settings.

32 bit computer and OS is better than 64 bit.
Yes. When Windows 9x came, it was very slow in old 16 bit PC and when compared to old 16 bit Windows 3.1 operating system. Loading of simple Notepad might take 5 to 10 seconds. In Windows 3.1 same Notepad came to screen without notable delay. Those Fujitsu desktops are first for me, with 64 bit OS. Never seen or used 64 bit Windows.

32 bit OS cannot have more than 4 GB RAM.
Not necessarily true. 2/4 GB limitation is general for one memory block. 32 bit Windows has special 8 byte integer, which is constructed from two 32 bit integers. Windows uses virtual address space. Addresses you use in programs are not real physical addresses. Windows maps the physical memory into logical blocks. Virtual disk on HDD can have way over 4GB "physical" memory. This was possible already in 16 bit Windows 3.1.  Don't have boards, which would support over 4GB RAM.

Never. Electric design or diagram for CPU is enormous. It's about the same size than diagram from all installed wires - public and private - for a city, with million inhabitants. The diagram is divided to smaller, almost independent blocks. Smaller teams design these blocks. After block is ready, it is added and integrated to primary design. Deca-tech components are register handling systems for CPU.

What is primer ?
It's a paint. Or paint type. Primers are used in cars and steel surfaces. Cheap primer is sprayed before actual paint. It smoothens and improves the surface. Then it gives bottom color for actual and more expensive paint. Without shaded primer you need much more actual paint for covering the underlying color. Typical primer gives surface light gray, almost white color.

The speed to binary CPU comes from optimized sync.
Yes. It seems, that it wastes quite a lot of instructions and time. Get the 4 core desktops next week. 

Sync is almost all the time active. Each instruction has it's own execution time.

In simple system, single thread uses the cores sequentially. When 1st core comes to output it releases 2nd core. If 2nd core is late, it goes directly to output and releases 3rd core on it's way. Last core releases 1st core for next round. 

Then you can have another system for background/secondary tasks. When active thread is stuck in some core, you can use waiting cores for running background tasks. In this system, core is needs two release codes. One for active and second for background task. Both must be set, before you release next core. System gives the best possible speed to active task.

This system cannot be used in common program. Common program must be processed so, that you take input values for next instruction after previous instruction is ready. If you for example calculate 2+2 = 4, then in the next line you multiply previous result, 4, with 10. You cannot multiply previous result, before it is calculated. Same goes to jumps, jump must be performed, before you read next line. Fastest way to process program lines, is single core system, where you use the same physical registers.

You would need media player's programming system, where you can write and assign program lines into cores. In media player you can write small programs for GPU, DSP and Network Controller. In games you have screening and AI loops, which can be processed in separate cores. In streaming you can use the simple system. Great deal from core division can be embedded into compiler. 

Programmers and modern compilers are the only ones, who knows, whether or not previous results are needed. In 4 core CPU, results from 3 previous program lines can cause the earlier result conflict. Fourth line is always quarantined to be up-to date. It belongs to previous cycle.

When you put OS into separate core, you get lots of speed. Program never uses results from OS instruction. They are read from RAM or HDD. As they are during the time they are read. When OS is in separate core, it never interrupts program execution. When program is interrupted, the current CPU state is stored to stack. After interruption, state is restored from stack.

Besides OS, DLL library is another thing, which can be executed in another core. When you enter DLL, the primary line-core waits the results. Most Windows messages and events can be launched and run in separate cores. Events are synchronized in program. Flow control for executing events doesn't need results, shared variables only. In multi core processing, shared variables need system for preventing simultaneous access.

With native multicore programs, you can get more speed and sales to almost everything. Get some reality into system and OS requirements. Native multicore can be easily made backward compatible. Make core divisors so, that old CPU ignores them.

With line checks in compiler, dedicated cores and CPU support for these, you can get actual 4 core 3.2 GHz CPU speeds to near 10 GHz single core speed.

System suits also to media player and deca-tech. Media player has the same multitasking and processing principles than current computers.

Don't know. Haven't instructions for multi CPU. If there are instructions for setting sync on and off, you can set CPU manually to multi cycle and rolling modes. In for example 3D games there are busloads of data, which is only fed into GPU. Then there are few things you calculate and where you need single core mode. 

Multi core is different from external-internal speed system. Multi core CPU needs always native Multi Core Program, before you can get bigger advantage from the cores. Without result-conflict and skipping handling, you can get bigger advantage only in multitasking. Faster memory and faster HDD always bring improvement to speed. Memory is already near the 2.8 Ghz limit.

Don't know. Have seen all kinds of peculiarities and stupidities recently. Learnt yesterday, that both HP and Dell have used reversed micro ATX boards in their best selling products. Only genuine, original HP and Dell board fits into the box. You can never upgrade these computers. They are disposal, almost worthless, when something from the board goes broke. Started to buy one Dell Optiplex 360 computer as a box for new desktop. Everything looked fine until I learnt, that board is reversed. When you put common micro ATX into box, expansion slots goes into place, where the box has space for connectors. Connectors go into place, where the box has holes for PCIe cards. Sales numbers, revenues and dividends are down. Nobody likes Mr. Greedy and his great visions about becoming the richest man in the world.

You should give a thought to your customers. A company's IT department has budget, which puts an end to your dreams. People have wages and many important costs, which puts a limit to the money they can and will spend for your greedy visions.

When you make 3D calculations, calculations for each object can be divided to different cores. They are all independent from each other. Collisions and hits are the only ones, where objects are connected. In 4 core CPU you can calculate 3 to 4 objects at the time. The program must be built for the system. In programming language, you must be capable of feeding multiple cores. You need block command and-or logical procedures for splitting the execution to available cores.

You need pre-fetcher for calculation block. Fetcher checks the available cores and assigns blocks inside the main block accordingly. Instruction for activating and in-activating fetcher is needed. Then you need block begins and ends instructions. When you put skipping to block begin instruction, fetcher can quickly search and execute all blocks in main block. You can build a standardized instruction set for multi core programs. Instruction set can be used in all programs.

Without native multi core programs, you can never get much gains in speed with multiple cores.

Not in all programs, but in copies, games and video you can reach this speed. Programs, where you  don't need results and many skipping commands.

Think they are okay. PSU was TFX and board follows mATX form. Cannot use word Rocket from these two, but with 32 bit Windows 7 Pro they are rather fast. They miss Windows XP2 operating system and graphic cards. Start to install these computers for real later. XP installation crashed.

Blue Ray drives failed to play BD movies in Windows 7 Pro. Have full BD support for XP2. Came with old Blue Ray drives. These desktops have XP support for USB-3.

Halloween Hackers disturbed the installation as much as they could. Hacked and removed few important sent mails from Ekr833@Yahoo.Com. After installation Windows 7 Pro activations failed.
