Become an independent member of European Union*. In principle the European federation countries conflict with EU. Continent wide EU can provide better support for small independent countries, than smaller federation countries to their states. Maintenance of two overlapping governmental systems costs quite a lot. It slows down the decision making.

Europe is already toll and passport free area. Borders are not very important. Possible that for example Northern Ireland becomes an independent country. Independent country can set taxes and levels of social security. Build and modify health-care and old-care systems. And so on. Legislation is rather independent from other members.

In order to allow the intended independencies, EU needs united armed forces. United forces are needed for preventing and intervening bloody wars in between neighboring countries. Forces can be funded from EU budget, united forces reduces the need and cost of national armed forces. Eyes are laryngitis like organs. If you have difficulties in far-seeing, your eyes are not practiced to far seeing.  With practice you can improve both far and near sights. How is your bird project doing ?
It's not a project. Just feeding birds of all sizes every day with sunflower seeds. In the beginning they were not used to regular feeding. Ate too much, there was bird shit everywhere. If I forget to fill their food cup in the morning, it doesn't take long, after there is someone knocking at door. They live with daylight. Always vanishes to their nests after it gets dark. Regardless of time.

Just common wild birds. Sometimes see them patrolling the area. Circling around in good formation. Caught them once giving a good and noisy concerto at local nurses cabin.

Don't know. Don't know birds very well and I haven't seen them close. Never disturb or spy them, when they come to eat. They are shy, flies away, when you try. Might be magpies.

Why ?
Once, when I got suspicious food from shop, decided to check, if birds eat it. After that, made a feeding cup and started to buy sunflower seeds to them. During fall, winter and spring there is not much to eat outdoors.
