Harbor Warp-One
Two interstellar trains sail slowly into sight from the darkness. They seem to be sailing towards Harbor Warp-One.
Warp crafts, that tow the long car rows, pushes all their landing and other light patterns out and set them on.
Strong lights enlighten towed cars, whole harbor and it's surroundings.
Shiny blue craft takes direction towards upper floors and passenger gate system for interstellar flights.
Dark gray craft, with windowless car row, aims to lower floor and cargo slots.
Cargo craft pilot gets permission to anchor his row to the cargo bay C60.
Co-pilot contacts Slot C60 : " Slot C60. Polaris C is requesting a docking bay for warp craft type 7 and twelve 80C cargo cars."
After a while slot door zero opens and pushes docking system for warp craft 7 hulls. Polaris C start the approach and docks itself into holder.
Slot C60 asks confirmation for successful docking from the co-pilot.
"Okay. Polaris C. You are free to leave the cabin. Have a nice evening." slot C60 ends communication with Polaris C.
After pilots leave Polaris C, small tower vessels come and start to anchor cargo cars to bay C60 cargo doors.
Loading of cargo train and passenger train's cargo cars begin right after cargo care anchored.
Blue Polaris A locks into it's holder. After all doorways to three 80P
residential cars are open, arrival of Polaris is announced to people. "Inter-constellation flight Polaris from Centaurus star system to Ursa Minor has arrived to gates 500 to
599.
Please check your tickets for your car, cabin and gate. Ship will leave Earth tomorrow at 10.00.
From Solarus flight continues to Rigil and Hadar star systems in Centaurus.
After Hadar Polaris leaves Centaurus. Final
destination is Northor planet in Polaris star system and Ursa Minor constellation.
Next stop is at Duphto planet's warp harbor.
Duphto is in Ursa Major constellation's Dubhe star system "
Middle aged parents, their teenaged daughter and few years younger son are sliding to the gates.
"Are we Centauries ?" younger boy asks from his parents.
"Yes darling." ma-ma answers.
"Ancient people had very primitive ... narrow and limited view from space. They for example failed to see, that sun must belong to the closest star constellation, which is Centaurus." pa-pa explains.
"Lets go and settle down to our flat. After that we can start to carry luggage into our storages" mama proposes.
"To that cargo train ?" teenaged daughter exclaims with querying, forbidding voice.
"No. Storage cars are in the back of this train. Cargo train brings machines and stuff for settling down to Northor. We will be the first settlers of Northor." papa replies.
"Hopefully you didn't forget anything ... like for example boyfriend." boy helps horrified sister in the background
... and so the loving siblings ended into a short shouting, fighting and hitting session.
At A-trains cargo gates small, unmanned airborne towers are dragging
containers into train. Later in the evening some settlers come to cargo cars loading gates.
Checking that their containers are loaded into train. Some are already in a
need to go and pick things from their containers. Some wants to check, that
their personal belongings are truly properly packed. Containers in passenger
train becomes available right after they are loaded and locked into their
places.
After busy night, awakened pilots and mechanics come back to their ships. They warm
up space jets, and start the big HF engines in the hull. After doors are
closed and trains are detached from the docks, trains start to ascend into
space. People start to come out from their flats and gather into cars' public
spaces for farewell toasting ceremony to Earth and Solarus.
Group of two women and man in 20's stand beside man and woman in 40's.
Couple is dressed with long nurse and doctor coats. Woman, who stands beside
white coated man, takes a glance at him. She comes to the conclusion, that man is not a doctor or nurse. More likely to be some kind of scientist or assistant.
"What kind of people Northors are ?" woman asks from the white coat.
"Northor is doubled world. Just like ours. Humanoids, animals and plants are almost exactly like in our world." coat answers.
"There are also different kind of worlds ?" another woman queries.
"So far we have found cyclopean, quadric and sexagonal worlds" coat says.
"What are they ?" girls boyfriend wonders.
"In our doubled world, we have two pieces of almost everything. We have two eyes, hands, legs, lungs, brain partitions and so on.
In quadric world number four is the dominating number. In cyclopean world number one is common.
And in sexagonal world number six dominates in all life forms." coat answers.
"In quadric worlds humanoids have often two faces. Faces division section is in the place, where we have nose.
Quadrics don't walk on straight line, they have sector, where they can walk smoothly." white coat's partner clarifies.
"In discovered sexagonal worlds, humanoids have shared face partitions in all round the head. Left eye in one face is right
eye in the next face. Sextons can walk and run smoothly to all directions." white coat continues.
"Cyclopean worlds have turned out to be rather primitive." white coat's red coated partner says.
After short silent moment boyfriend asks "Do you come to live with us in Northor ?"
"Yes and No. We are pioneers. We live with you as long as needed. At least few months.
After that we join our explorer team" red coat answers.
After getting enough distance to Sun's planetary ring, co-pilot announces shift to warp speed.
"We are shifting into warp speed. You might suffer from dizziness and indisposition during the acceleration.
Gravitational force can vary during the acceleration" .
Soon after the announcement small space jets are shut down and drawn into hull. Outlet nozzles color changes from red to blue. Co-pilot ends the toasting event
"We have bigger farewell party to Centaurus after we leave
Hadar.
Now I must ask those, who signed for a job, to sign into their workshops and workplaces."
After announcement majority from the people started to search their jobs. Kids headed towards schools and kindergartens.
People in Polaris are first wave settlers. They don't know how long they have to live and work in car rows.
After warp train reaches Northor, warp crafts are replaced with common interplanetary crafts. Warp crafts return home.
Towed car rows and interplanetary crafts are left to Northor. Orbiting cars form target planets first, temporal space harbor.
Right after Blue and Grey leave, people in Centaurus start to prepare second settler shipment to Northor.
Whilst waiting for next settler shipment, warp crafts Blue and Grey make scheduled interstellar flights within Centaurus constellation.
Few hours after leaving Hadar, central radios become alive
"We are still accelerating to cruise speed. Polaris A will leave Centaurus later in the afternoon.
In the evening ... at 19.00 we have farewell party for Centaurus. All passengers are welcomed.
Party begins with plentiful, free dinner at ships restaurants.
Party is a good chance to get familiar with your future neighbors and traveling companions.
So. Do not miss it."
"Where is Polaris C. We are not allowed to cruise alone in interstellar space." boyfriend asks from his girls.
Passing crew member catches the question "Cargo ship cruises near, but not with us all the time.
Safety regulations set maximal rescue and contact time to 4 hours.
Warp trains can never cruise very close to each other, formed space waves are so big.
Polaris C makes the trip with different route."
"How many people you have on board ?" first girlfriend asks.
"Around 2000 people in 600 households ... excuse me, but I must go now." crew member answers and goes away.
"We could go and put our flat into final order. Have you signed up to your jobs already ?" another girlfriend asks. Trio leave pathway and go to their flat.

Farewell festive for Centaurus
In the evening people gather for dinner. Dinner was set to standing tables.
Each table was themed by star systems and planets. Two younger couples sit in
the table row.
"From where do you come ?" woman opens conversation with opposite couple.
"From Earth ... Solarus Two with official naming system." opposite woman answers and guess-queries
"You are not from Solarus ?"
"We started our adventure from Betus One." husband answers.
"Pete is geologist in Moon Mines. We were seduced to Northor with money and benefits." wife adds.
"We were not that lucky. Mike was fired. In layoff negotiations move to Northor was an alternative to unemployment." 2nd wife says.
"What do you do ?" Pete asks.
"Construction worker. After employer promised to pay movers trips and rents, we decided to leave Earth." Mike answers.
"Hey. Queues for the tables have shortened. Lets go and get bites to our plates". 2nd woman says.
Group goes to the tables. After return conversation continues.
"Wonder how people in Northor will take our arrival." Pete says.
"No idea. Haven't thought about it." Mike answers.
"When you came to our orbit, our power keepers hide pioneers coming. "
Betus woman says.
"After settler trains came and started to bring inhabitants, it was no longer possible to hide your coming." Pete says.
"Ooh. It is not very common. Usually our warp trains are welcomed and celebrated."
wife from earth surprises.
"Our power keepers prepared to go into war against you. We were highly alerted about your sudden, hostile invasion." Pete says.
"After interstellar trains, things in your world haven't been as great and unique as the cool trains."
Betus wife says.
"Understand. Warp trains were invented and developed by one man, Jack Groves. He was great scientist.
Way ahead of all the others. In almost all possible ways." Mike explains the disappointment.
"He researched and set rules for peaceful, co-operative commercial space exploring.
Jack taught us, that Gods will never let hostile, violent and evil people to enter, conquer and oppress space world." 2nd woman
continues.
"In his texts he talked about evil, godless commies and midgets. They are demons, servants of devil. Sources of all bad and evil things in our world." Mike announces.
Dinners and desserts are finished. People start move to public halls for
singing and listening captain's farewell speech.
Event begins with Anthem of Centaurus. Captains speech
highlights the hardness of first wave settlers lives. Captain introduces
typical difficulties, settlers have with native population. Captain had also
decided to note, that first wave settlers have unique chance to form the
settlements and their practices in a way they want. In the background video wall
shows videos from Northor, it's plants, animals and humans. Most videos
were taken from the discovered, unused ground oil fields and their
surroundings ... the places, new settlements will be built. Speech ends into a new anthem for
Northor. Anthem for Centaurus went smoothly.
People sings the new Anthem for Northor as well as they can, melody was
unknown to most. Since it is
Saturday evening, after the speech part of people move to restaurants. Part go to their flats, play grounds, beach pool, theme park, zoo-park, side
show hall, movie theater and shopping quarters.
Two men, Robert and Bill, are sitting at the bar counter, drinking beer.
"So. What is your mission in Northor ?" Robert opens the conversation.
"Oil drilling. And yours ?" Bill answers.
"Handy man for community. Build roads, air strips, drag cables and others. You have to build drilling station first ?" Robert says.
"Yes. Quite a lot of work before you get into actual drilling." Bill answers.
"Just curious, how do you play fair with primitive natives ?" Robert asks.
"When drilling begins, part from oil incomes is accounted to funds for primitives. Money is used to primos education.
After they get smart enough, they get the funds to themselves. " Bill answers.
"Do those funds have any control ?" Lara, Robert's mate, asks.
"Worked once at primo site. There was a big court case about the primos' oil funds misusage.
Someone had made a good business from primitives education projects. Held classes were overpriced and billed.
Then there was bills from classes and courses, which were never held
... teachers' wages and booked working hours were way too big and so on." Bill explains.
"Who takes care of native's rights ?" Lara asks.
"HQs accounting department sued the shady businessmen into court with enormous compensation demands.
Court case was in local news almost every day." Bill says.
"Crooks were not punished ?" Robert inquiries.
"No idea. News talked only about the funds misusage and stolen capital. Kind of a tradition in our world.
Quite sure that thieves were at least barred from primo-world businesses." Bill responds.
"Glasses are empty. Should we take another or go home ?" Robert asks Lara.
"I would like to go home." Lara says.
"Good night. I'll stay and take few night caps."
Bill wishes and starts to order stronger drink to himself.

The Storm
Bill is chitchatting with barmaid, when Polaris A plays an alert and starts to talk.
"We are heading towards severe space storm system.
Storm is too big and powerful for full speed drive through
All public services are closed right away. Cars' doors are closed and sealed after after 30 minutes.
You must return to your car. Check your cabin and put all loose objects into closets, boxes and lockers. After checkout you must use safety belted beds and seats."
After announcement ship starts to slow down. Info panels speedometers fall.
During slow down cars and their joints clatters almost all the time. At 1.0 warp ship says
"Opening joint locks. Cars and car row may sway in random directions and change on-board gravity system."
Soon after announcement, ships words start to come true and safety belt lights are lit.
Soon after getting contact with storm system ship says
"Cruise through storm system is estimated to last 8 hours. You can ask food and drinks from crew members."
Bill and Lauren, the barmaid sits side by side. After one strong, banging turbulence Bill says bitterly
"And I signed for this ... once again."
"I have never been in a storm of this size. Not even in a storm, that needs slow down." Holly says with some fear in her voice.
Bill records Holly's fear. "I have been in bigger. Cars went really wild, car were filled with crashing noises and vomiting people.
After storm train was stopped for checkout and repairs. Repairs took over week. One car was so badly wrecked, that it was dropped from the row."
"Everyone survived." Holly says with weak shivering voice.
"Yes. No one died. Few people was taken to sickbay. They had bruises, bone fractures and concussions."
"You travel a lot." Holly starts to get voice back.
"Quite a lot. Build oil drilling stations and platforms in all around the world. Move to locations and planets few times a year."
"Are you a big boss ?"
"No. Just a common worker. After one drilling site is ready, you must find a new site and job from somewhere."
"Do you like flying ?"
"Not especially. New worlds are interesting."
Bills eyelids start to fall over eyes. "Are you tired ?"
"A bit."
"What if you go to sleep and I go to work"
"Okay" Bill begins lazily, suddenly he sharpens "Will you come back ?"
"If you want to."
"I do."
"My emergency shift lasts two hours. See you after that" Holly informs her tired mate and leaves her seat.
After an hour storms' horror effect starts to fade. People in public places
are no longer screaming and shouting, every time connectors and joints crashes
noisily. Cruise through the storm takes six hours. Soon after ship is
re-opened, ship stops and says
"Ship is stopped for one hour checkout."
Drones and manned space scooters come out from maintenance car. They fly in
all around the ship and check hulls for external damages. Inside the train
mechanics open connectors paneling, They check connectors and their joints.
Storage keepers check cargo cars. After checkout, ship blows fog horn and
starts to raise engine powers. Polaris A starts long acceleration to cruise
speed. Suddenly engines go down and ship stops again. Surprised
passengers are looking at at other. Ship starts to talk and explain the stop "Polaris
C has a hull breach. We must wait until it is fixed. Repairs are estimated to
last three hours."
Bill awakens and notices Holly's empty seat.
"Hmh." Bill is about leave his seat, when Holly
comes.
"Hi. You came."
"Hi. So I did. Almost certain, that you had left. Took
a shower and changed clothes."
"I'm famished. Have you eaten anything ?"
"No. Merely sitting scared in waitresses room. Hoping
that no one calls."
"What if we go to diner ... I'll buy."
"Okay. Could pay my own meal and drinks ... but if you
insist."
Bill raises and couple starts to walk towards diner.

Hull Breach
In the distance travel companion, Polaris C, follows. Polaris C was also
forced to cruise slowly though the enormous space storm system. One car has a
huge hole in it. Inside the train all eight mechanics are going to check
the broken car.
"Wonder what went through this time." one mechanic says to radio.
"No idea, we'll see." another mechanic responds.
One mechanic opens air lock. Mechanics walk in into joint and close the door.
Mechanics check broken car's floors. "Got it.
One tractor has gone missing." mechanic informs.
"Plan to go back and search it ?" female mechanic laughs to radio.
"No way. It has done quite a lot of damage to neighboring machines. Floor has a big hole." discoverer answers.
"Hull breach, do you have to go out ?" chief mechanic asks.
"Yes. You must replace few broken wall plates." discoverer answers.
Mechanics come to breach. Four mechanics dresses up with space shoes and sleeve wings.
And swim into space. Space shoes are much like diver's flaps, but bigger.
Sleeve wings allows you to swim in space. Space shoes and sleeve wings allows
you to move freely in space. Mechanics start to remove broken plates. Three
mechanics come to breach from the storage. They are towing new plates with
space scooters.
Captain contacts chief mechanic. "Is it bad ?"
"No. Lost one tractor. UFO has damaged few machines and units ... punched a big hole to one floor."
"How long the breach needs ?"
"Hull needs two to three hours. "
"Call me, after you are ready to leave." Captain ends the query. Work at the broken hull continues.

Monday morning
Monday is the first actual weekday in the train. Since journey is just
about to begin, quite many goes to training, where you are taught selected
pioneering jobs. When you sign to the trip, you select few pioneering
jobs, you are willing to do in the settlement. And during the trip to there. Those, who misses
capability for selected pioneering jobs are trained to do them. As days go by,
training courses end and life in train falls into everyday
routines. Great many jobs, people do in trains, produce things and tools for
settling down into uninhabited areas. After train reaches it's destination,
work continues. You start to drop and install produced things down to
settlement.
Group of three young men and two young women are smoking at auditoriums
smoking area.
"Any ideas about the evening ?" Tyler asks
"Someone said, that there is big sand beach in second
car's downstairs. It is open all day long. You can swim and sun bath in it.
Could go and check it out." Cailee says.
"Haven't swam for ages. You can count me in ... anyone else ?" Nick agrees.
All agreed to gather at the beach in the evening at 7 o'clock. After a while buzzer beeps. Group stump cigarettes and go back to classes.
In the evening group is coming to beach. Bence has asked his girlfriend Falyn with him. At the doorway group gets a small shock. Beach is empty from humans. But it is full of all kinds of trashes.
"Wow. What a mess." Aubrey blesses.
"Earlier visitors must have missed the sign 'Keep the beach clean'" Nick agrees.
"Blessing will not clean the beach. Should we clean it or go to somewhere else ?" Bence asks.
"It is not that bad. It takes only 10 minutes to take biggest trashes to bins." Bence's girlfriend Falyn votes for staying.
"Maybe the storm emptied trash cans to beach." Tyler proposes.
"Hey. There is fully automated bar-mate over there." Nick notices with joy and goes to buy a beer to himself. Tyler and Bence follow Nick to the bar-mate.
Girls start to pick trashes. After boys come back, it doesn't take long after beach is cleaned.
"So. What do you think ?" Tyler asks
sunbathing Cailee.
"It's nice, when it is clean." Cailee
answers.
"Hopefully it stays cleaner in the future. After
people learn, that in settler trains you must do all kinds of things by
yourself." Aubrey says.
Group swims and lies in the sun. Finally Nick says
"It is almost ten. Bedtime to at least me."
Group raises up, gather their things, change clothes, cleans the beach and
leave it.

Warp Craft Series 7
After 4 weeks all classes are over. People are working and training in
workshop cars. Manufactured products are put to storage, waiting for the
arrival to Northor. Trip from Centaur to Northor takes around 50 weeks.
Northor is
the most distant target for the Warp-craft 7. Warp-craft Type 7 has four chamber warp engine with four outlet nozzles.
Series 7 crafts can cruise with 60 warp speed. Craft uses linear double action
HF cylinders for generating electricity. Double action cylinder creates
electricity with linearly moving coil system. Engine room has two units. There
is space for horizontally placed HF cylinders. Cylinders' momentum forces make
horizontal positioning mandatory. HF cylinders safety issues need many rather
small cylinder units. Cylinder room is surrounded by cable room.
Cable room has wires that connect cylinders generator units to thruster units
resistor cell systems. Resistor cells are circles or sectors of circle. All
cell units are mounted to tube walls. Tube has more than one heater cell
circle. Heater units have their own rooms, heater units are inside the
car. Cell units are made so, that you can lift them away from the tube.
At Polaris A bridge, second female co-pilot is in duty.
In the dashboard, 3rd chambers temperature starts to fall. After a while Polaris A beeps few times and says.
"Temperature in chamber 3 has fallen under critical level. Ship cannot maintain given direction and cruise speed."
Announcement alerts co-pilot in to action. She checks chamber, engine and generator data from the dashboard. She takes the microphone and calls pilot.
"What now ?" awakened, irritated pilot wrangles with loud voice.
"Chamber 3 is malfunctioning. You must check chambers and readings from the engine room." co-pilot explains.
"Okay ... I was sleeping ... Come as soon as I wake and dress up ... Is it bad ?" Pilot responds.
"I'm afraid that we must stop. Chamber 3 is malfunctioning." co-pilot explains.
Pilot and mechanic in duty come to engine room. Mechanic takes diagnostic tool from the closet. Men walk to 3rd chamber's unit.
Mechanic opens the diagnostic kit and plugs it into engine.
After a while he says "It's a real thing. Stop trains. Call
captain, pilot and mechanics ."
Pilot starts to alert people. Engines are shut down. Engine room gets quiet.
"What now ?" Pilot asks mechanic.
"Nothing. Must wait until engine cools down and train stops. Lets go for a coffee" Men start to walk away.
Whilst walking to diner ship starts to talk "We are suffering from failing engine. We have to stop for few hours."
"What do you think there is ?" pilot asks mechanic.
"Coffee and pastries, like always before."
"Meant the engine."
"Probably some loose, burned wire or resistor. Nothing serious. We'll get going right after
engine cools down and you can search and replace broken parts."
Men walk to counter.
"Coffee and pastries." pilot sets and pays the order to maid. Men go to en empty table, waiting for the order.
After ship has stopped, mechanics gather to engine room. Chief mechanic, pilot
and co-pilot come to engine room. Two mechanics open service latch. All mechanics go in.
Service latch reveals cable works, that lead from generator to resistors. Mechanics check the cables, whose diameter is around 1 meter.
After cables they check connectors to generators and resistors.
Finally they start to measure resistors. One mechanic shouts and another
writes down results.
Mechanics come back to engine room.
"Well ?" pilot enquiries from chief mechanic.
"30 out of 100 resistor cell units have burned."
"How long you need for repairs ?" pilot
asks.
"We have required cells in storage ... 20 minutes per
cell ... three in an hour ... thirty ... repairs last 10 to 15 hours."
"Okay. I will announce 30 hour break to captain,
passengers and Polaris C." pilot responds and goes to bridge.
"Why do you have to check cables and others manually
?" co-pilot asks chief mechanic.
"Temperature is the only thing, that can be measured
in real time. Currents in lead cables are enormous. Gauges are dangerous and
they would consume too much energy from the power flow."
"From the same reasons engine room is not manned in
warp speed cruising. Warp speed cruising fills the engine room with lethal
electric radiation bursts. Pathway to bridge has over 1 meter thick walls."
mechanic in duty points to the tube in the middle of engine room.
"Visited once warp engine factory. Room, where they
test finished engines has small observation windows. When they raise engine
powers to warp levels, cables start to produce thunder bolts. Guide said, that
bolts cannot be avoided. New warp engines produce too much power for their
dimensionless cables. He said also, that first old engines were tested with animals.
Warp powers killed all animals in less than hour." another mechanic explains.
Pilot comes back from the bridge. "You are not
allowed to leave bridge empty." he says to co-pilot. Co pilot goes
to bridge, pilot to his quarters. Five mechanics go to their restroom. For gearing
up to repairs. Three lesser mechanics go to storage.
Mechanics come to thruster room with their tool boxes. First they detach
cables from the broken unit. After the mounting bolts are opened, broken
resistor is dragged out from the tube with special lift tool. Resistor unit is
around 2 meters above floor. Lift tool can drag resistor cells also from under
and over the tube. Replacement of one cell needs two mechanics and
one lift tool. Total repair time is two days.
After mechanics are finished, Polaris A is starts to move again. First with
electric space jets, later with warp engines.

Pit stop at Duptho, Big Dipper
Polaris continues it's trip towards Northor. After three months cruising,
Polaris A slows down and says "We are coming to star system
Dubhe in Ursa Major constellation. We will arrive to planet Duptho's warp
harbor on Saturday morning. We leave on Monday evening. If you visit Duphto,
be sure to come back by Monday afternoon. We get 400 new settlers and 200
experts from Ursa Major stars and planets. On Sunday evening, right before we
leave, we have toasting gathering in passenger cars'
public spaces."
After Polaris A has docked into Warp Duptho harbor, three
worker bee-craft groups come to train. First group detach Warp craft
from the cars and take it away. Another worker-bee group splits the cruise and
settler cars from each other. Bees drag car rows inly few meters apart from
each other. Telescopic tentacles, that connect cars to terminal, remain
attached. Third group buzzes at the end of last workshop
car. After splitting train into parts bees fly away.
Few hours later, in the morning people start to come into terminal. Most
walk to lander buses, that take people down to Duptho. After landers leave,
terminal becomes quiet and deserted.
Landers descend to Plonxiir, capitol of Duptho. Settlers weekend in
Plonxiir begins with guided round trip. During the trip settlers learn a lot
from Duptho. Before settlers from SSA ( Star Systems Associated ) Duptho was the
most advanced planet in Dubhe's planetary system. Dupthonians are more social,
peaceful and friendlier than Earthlings. Duptho has never had states and wars.
Plonxiir is an old capitol of Duptho. When settlers came, they built their
settlements and businesses near Plonxiir. Almost all foreigners live in
foreign suburbs of Plonxiir. Dupthonians live in all around the planet.
Settlers buses stops into native city. In native city you can see how
Dupthonians lived before explorers came. In the center of native city there is
big temple for Dupthonians religion. At outskirts of Plonxir, there is zoo,
garden and big preserved rural area. In preserved rural area you see how
Dupthonian red-necks lived and produced food for city people.
In the afternoon guided tour ends
to Plonxiir's shopping streets. Settlers' hotel is right beside shopping
district. Within SSA planets construction tech is widely shared. Outside
preserved areas, Plonxiir is much like towns on Earth and other planets.
Difference to other planets come from the food, drinks, products and souvenirs
you can buy from the shops. Settlers evening in Plonxiir begin with dinner in
one restaurant. After dinner part from settlers spread into local pubs, discos
and night clubs, part went to hotel.
Warp harbors have dedicated port system for moving stuff in and out from
loose cars. On early Sunday morning group of worker bees fly to gates for
residential cars. Bees detach one residential car from the system and start
tow it towards Polaris A. Two other groups take one workshop and workshop
storage car into towing.
When bees come to Polaris A, telescopic tentacles are detached from the train.
Bees drop the cars near their intended places and create car length spaces to splits. When
pushing settler car to train, car
slips loose. It moves slowly towards terminal. Movement ends to noisy collision
with safety rails. Collision alerts people in the car to public areas with
scenic windows. They watch how bees surround the lost car and drags it back to near
train. Second attempt to connect car into train goes without problems.
People at scenic windows start go back into their flats. Soon after car is
connected doors to other cars are opened. After residential car, bees attach
workshop and storage cars into train.
Later in the morning pilots and regular staff comes to train and doors to
the terminal are opened. Pilots go to cabin and start warm and check the
engines. Crew vanishes into kitchens. They start to prepare the toasting
event for everyone on board.. First lander buses come to terminal at noon.
Terminal floor, into which Polaris A is docked, gets quiet in early
evening.
After short toasting event, gate doors are closed and tentacles drawn away
from ship. Polaris A starts take distance to Duptho's Warp harbor.

Going to new home in Northor
Space navigation is based to six cardinal compass points : North, East,
South and West are planar directions. In order to define positions in
vertical direction, space needs two cubic compass points : Up and Down. Warp
speed cruising is not very accurate. In warp mode train can travel only from
one star system to another.
A group of space fishes is searching food. Group is swimming by a space
beacon, when big space shark comes for a dinner. Shark takes speed for
filling it's mouth. Small fishes hide the beacon from the shark. Shark
hits the beacon in full speed, with mouth open. Crashing noise fills the air
and small fishes escape. Beacon seems to survive from the collision without
damage : Green Ok lights remains powered on the beacon's control panel.
Polaris crafts are cruising towards North Star. In Polaris A pilot in
duty notices, that the ship is heading to stardust. He checks space without
finding note about stardust Polaris is going. Pilot checks the course from
Polaris C, Polaris C informs, that it is also going towards the unmapped
stardust. Pilots change few words about the stardust. They come to the
conclusion, that it is nothing. All they have to do is to cruise slowly
through the cloud.
Life in Polaris A continues peacefully. Due to the density and size of
the dust cloud, both crafts has to power down warp engines Crafts
cruise to the dust cloud with electric jets. In Polaris A, public spaces'
scenic windows are opened. Cloud seems to be a colorful living space
organism. People stop working. They come to watch the cloud and life in it.
After cloud, trains are stopped and checked, before they return to warp
speed.
Two days after stardust incident, navigation screen in Polaris A cabin
goes black, screen informs, that connection is lost. Soon after black out
Polaris C informs bridge about emergency stop. Polaris C had also lost it's
navigational system. Trains slow down and float to same location. Peaceful
life in Polaris A ends to settlers curiosity and nervousness. Trains anchor
to each other and powers big emergency transmitter-receiver units.
War crafts Path-Breaker III and Path-Breaker XII are coming back from the
peace keeping expedition to Giausar, Dragon. Breakers are heading to Northor
for getting supplies and recruits from Polaris trains. Path-Breakers
are the newest, fastest, most powerful and advanced ships, SSA has. Battle
stations maximal cruise speed is over 200 warps.
Path-Breaker III catches Polaris trains emergency calls first. It turns
out, that Polaris trains had drifted off the course, into unknown
space. On their way to trains, Path-breakers establish temporal beacon
system for the rescue. After a day, nasty looking, black war-crafts come to
trains. Settlers and crew are naturally interested to see the notorious
crafts, which are hardly ever seen in populated areas and in the nature.
Trains return to the point, where war-crafts left their pathway. After
getting to pathway, Path-breakers escort Polaris trains to Northor.
Arrival to Northor is ascetic and dark. Big welcoming crowds and
orchestras are missing. Pioneers have left few cars to the orbit. Then there
is a small and simple hub, into which you can anchor crafts and their cars.
Through hub, you can move from one car row to another without space suit.
Arrival is breathtaking moment to many. For the first time you are forced
to think, what kind of deal you have signed and committed yourself.
