Last car that has used lamp-oil, is SAAB 99 Petro from the around 1980. SAAB manufactured few years this tax evasion model to Finnish markets in Finland. Car's manufacturing ended after Finnish politics and civil servants assigned common fuel taxes to lamp oil, that was used as fuel. After 1.35 euros comes gas station's profit margins, sales and fuel taxes.  €1.60 per liter and $6 per US gallon are somewhere near the cheapest retail price at gas station..

Oil plants oil content could be around 80%. With better compressors you might get around 1 500 liters oil per hectare. Fat's "oil" content is 80%.
Refined vegetable fuel can be used diesel and kerosene. And also in Jack's new multi-fuel engines.

Bio fuels were invented in mid 1980s Finland. Right after invention, they were forgotten for two decades. One bio fuel liter was so much more expensive than common fuel liter.
