Jews have a small majority amongst popular or leading female actors only. Popular male actor, director and script writer is usually American with European ancestry or Briton. To female actor aging comes into way, after you are 40.  Male actors best selling years begins later, at 30's. Milestone age for male is around 60 years. Males are expected to have some life experience and signs of wear on their face. Young baby faces are not very popular amongst people. In porn movies age cap is usually big. Woman is at 20's and man at 50's,

What does actor do ?
Depends on your skills and director. In principle actor visualizes and audiolizes the character he-she plays. Sometimes you build the character on your own, sometimes with director's instructions.

What does director do ?
Most of the director's time usually goes on thinking shooting angles and camera locations. And how people are placed on the scene. If the impression is not right, actors start to get orders from director. In re-takes there is usually only one little thing, which must be corrected. Everything else is okay.  Another reason is that the director has more than one vision from the scene, and it is not known which one is best.

I was just wondering. What does producer do ?
It depends on project darling. In a traditional process producer is the key person. Producer starts the work from script selection, and continues to control the process until movie is ready. In the traditional process director's job is to visualize the script. In additional process, where director and script writer are usually the same person, director's role in the process is much more bigger. Producer merely makes it sure, that everything is done by director's will. 

Especially then, when director is the owner of production company and finances the movie.

Gross calculators

Is it possible to calculate the total gross after the opening weekend ?
For the country level it is possible to get quite accurate estimation about the total gross. The success varies so much by country to country, that you cannot do an overall estimation after an opening in one country. There are calculators on the site for rough estimations.

You use them in your own calculations  ?
Yes I do. Formulas are taken spreadsheet program, with what I do all movie related financial calculations. The only difference is, that I use more precise percentages in my own calculations. Estimate them case and weekend by weekend.

Are the background pictures difficult to do ?
Depends on photo, and colors on it. Usually background picture is easy, when the target in the front is completely lighter or darker than the background. When the background has both lighter and darker shades, you have to manipulate the picture quite a lot.

Sheets

Tell me something about the sheet ?
Sheets which reduces the production time are very handy. Nowadays it takes few years before the idea is on the screen. With the sheet it is possible to reduce the production time to less than year. It makes it easy to react to the changes in trends.

It takes few months to create a sheet from scratch, and after that you can start the production, with almost full speed. You can start to design settings, costumes, search shooting places and studios, gather cast for the production. The production processes run slightly behind the actual script writing.

Sheet is also handy with book writings. Makes it very easy to keep track on the plot and events of the book. 

Sheet is a plot and story designing tool. When you write stories, it is not very unusual, that you run out of the original idea, and start to write something, which is far from the beginning of the story. Sometimes the story just flows into a different category. When you design and think the plot first, story is guaranteed to stay in it's frames. You can also use more than one writer with the actual script and dialogues.

When you know, that the average scene lengths are 3 - 6 minutes, you can also adjust the length of the story to 1.30 to 2.30 hours. Which is the length range for full length movie.

Then you can easily see if there is enough speed, romance, zombies, actions, etc. in the movie. Since the sheet is short, you see it with one glance.

The format of the sheet is naturally free, it is only an abstract tech how-to-design movie, and keep process in control.

Are the sheets new things ?
Do not know. Studied movie making very long time ago. In the 80's they were completely unknown. End up to the sheet system, when I wrote two script like stories. It was so difficult to write the story without predefined plot, and flow of events.

The sheets are not protected with anything, and they free to use ?
Yes of course. I do not even know, if I was the first to use and discover them.

The sheets fasten the process, and makes it easier to write scripts. What else ?
If your an actress, actor, director or producer, who gets lots of scripts, it is easy evaluate the story from the sheet. For a producer it is quite easy to evaluate the cost of the production from the sheet. How many settings are needed, how many characters need casting, and so on. If you do not get a sheet with the script, you have to spend week with one script and do the evaluations and notes from the script. By yourself.

It kills the creativeness ?
I do not think so. When you write scripts and books you have to calculate and do rational thinking quite a lot. So that you can get the smooth flow to the story. I liked the sheets very much. In my opinion they rather increased the creativeness than reduced it. When you do not have to rewrite 20 - 50 pages, after you get a better idea for the story, you can change the story quite easily. The threshold for making changes is much more lower.

It is much like shooting scripts like directors do.

No. I think, that you helped me a little darling.

Movie businesses

Movie business is only 10 billion business ?
Well. If you say so.

Yes darling. The straight yearly value of the Western movie business is 30 to 40 billions. It is not a very small amount. Cellulars are $150 billions, Computer software is about $100 billions, and so on. The value of the World's GDP comes from small pieces.

The money, movie business and production companies makes, is so called productive money, it creates work. Movie business has also many values, which cannot be evaluated with money. They give joy, idols, gossips and amusement to people.

Shootings

Why ?
In general companies spend quite lot of money to entertain the staff. In some European countries there are strict laws, which forces you to spend certain amount from the revenues to staff's entertainment.

Talking about things from company's side, taking a movie production and makers into facilitates is good thing for staff. Raises interest, and it is a good subject for talks. The average efficiency rate of the happy and motivated staff is about 50% higher, than it is with sad and bored staff.

Salesmen are also grateful for getting some interesting subjects to coffee break talks and sales events. 

Manufacturing companies are quite boring and dull places. They are not very colorful and interesting.

And you needed movies and other things to keep staff happy. And profits at top levels ?
You can say so. When you start to watch profits and money only, you lose the sense and motivation. And this leads to losses with money and profits too. Have to have some interest to the things you do, before you can make big money and profits. Best profits tend to come from the things, where money is a secondary argument, and doing the thing is the 1st. Instead of thinking how much do I get from this, and how do I spend the money, you set your thoughts and mind to the things you are doing.
