"Hello ! There ! " Gordon shouts to the escaping couple. "Where are you going ?"
Virgil turns around "Krhrmmm ! " He starts. Then he points Frenchman's head with his finger. "Nowhere . . . . well . . . to the bathroom. We are going to fix his looks."
"Eeh. You want us to follow you ?" Alan inquiries.
"No" Frenchman says and turns around.
"You could go back to the table, and wait us in there. We'll come there right after we get his looks in order" Virgil instructs his team quietly.
"You know, who she . . . " Gordon starts.
"Let's go back to the table." Pen breaks Gordon.

"Wonder what happened to them." Max wonders aloud.
"It is a very sad story." Pen says.
"They are gone now." Max continues.
"Not all." Pen says.
"Everything is gone . . ." Max weeps.
"Robyn and Jack said that there is still some hope left." Pen says.
"No there isn't. I saw it all." Max weeps.
"You saw it all ?" Pen gets a bit worried about Max's mental levels.
"I saw it too." Alan joins the conversation.
"You saw it too ?" Pen asks.

"Yes. It is the way Scott is." Alan. "He takes his drinks very quickly."
"Lost is lost, and losses are losses." Max says.

"I think, that I'll take one to myself, would you like to have another one ?" Alan asks.
"We would love to." Max says hastily. Whilst walking, the team has returned to the table. Alan winks the waitress and places an order for three Barbadian Rums.

"Jack. What do we do now ?" Robyn asks Jack.
Jack walks to the window of his office. He watches the empty, flaming space. "Do not know darling."

"Darling. Do we have any options ?" Robyn asks.
"Yes darling. We have at least three options." Jack answers. He continues to look out.

"Darling. Would you like to tell me about them." Robyn says.

"Yes of course darling" Jack says and turns around.

"First of all we could stay on Earth's orbit." Jack answers.
"And concentrate on Moon Base, until Earth is free from the gamma radiation." Robyn breaks.
"Yes it is one of the options we have." Jack answers. The couple is quiet for a while.

"What else do we have ?" Robyn continues.
"When we planned Space City, we came to the conclusion, that it is not entirely impossible to create frames for life on some deserted, rocky planet." Jack answers.
"What planet. Venus or Mars ?" Robyn asks.
"Venus. It is closer to sun. After we would get the artificial atmosphere and oceans to Venus, the planet would be much like Earth. It is always easier to isolate heat and light, than to create them." Jack answers.
"Earth like planet, hotter ?" Robyn inquiries.
"No. Almost like Earth. Oceans store heat for the night times, and transfer the heat all over Earth. Atmosphere filters dangerous radiation and part of the sunlight and heat to itself." Jack answers.

"But ?" Robyn inquiries.
"The success is heavily dependent on Isaac and his team. Creating Earth like conditions to Venus is not necessarily possible. It will also take lots of time. In principle. According to our early studies, it is possible, that it is possible." Jack says.
"Nothing more and nothing less ?" Robyn says.
"Yes. Darling" Jack answers.

"Would it possible to return to Earth ?" Robyn asks.
Jack comes closer to Robyn, and hugs her "Not for you and me." he says.

"You sure about it ?" Robyn whispers back.
"Yes. According to Isaac, we must stay away from Earth for almost 200 years." Jack says.
"It is already almost empty from the essential raw materials." Robyn says.
"Yes. Humans have used and wasted Earth's resources without any hesitation." Jack joins Robyn's opinion.

"Would it be possible to neutralize radiation ?" Robyn asks.
"The decisions we make, set our focuses to the certain things. If we decide to go back on Earth, it is possible, that Isaac and his mates find a way to neutralize the gamma radiation. Before it vanishes." Jack answers.

"We have little over 10 000 people here. We cannot concentrate on all possible things." Robyn says.
"You are absolutely bright darling. I like it." Jack flatters.
"Thanks darling." Robyn answers.

After watching the space for few minutes Robin says "We could leave Earth's solar system, and try to find another Earth like planet."
"Yes darling. It is our third option." Jack answers.
"What would it need ?" Robyn asks.
"We would have to develop our space ships." Jack answers.
"Much like ocean liners" Robyn says.
"Yes. There aren't any light and energy available for the ships." Jack continues.

"But it would be the best ?" Robyn asks.
Jack does not answer, he walks to the bar. He makes a drink to himself.

"And that's all we have." Robyn exclaims.
"Yes. Would you like to have a drink darling ?" Jack asks Robyn.
"Yes, I would love to darling" Robyn answers. Jack makes two drinks. Robyn and Jack sit down to the Bar's window table. Looking at each other, taking their drinks.

"Darling, you didn't answer." Robyn says.
"Darling, I do not know, what is the best thing to do." Jack says.
"Isaac ?" Robyn asks.
"Nothing." Jack answers. The couple sits quietly in the small private bar.

After they finishes their drinks Jack says. "Darling I'm a bit tired, I think that I go to the penthouse for a nap." Robyn and Jack leave the office.

"Gee. It takes quite a long to put the wig and mustaches." Gordon says.
"Yes. It truly takes quite a long time . . . to put the mustache and wig back." Maxwell starts. After giving few more thoughts to the delay, he turns to Penelope "Pen, darling. You have any idea what kind of man Frenchman is ?"
"I think he is straight" Pen responds.

"Ooh. Straight ?" Gordon wonders.
"Yyyh . . . " Alan starts.
"Would you believe, that he is straight Frenchman, born in France and speaks French, too ?" Maxwell helps.
"Tricky question . . . buut . . . . I think . . . . that I buy it" Gordon answers.
"Thanks." Alan whispers to Max.

The big screen on the wall is opened.
"Not again" Pen almost cries.

"Look. Robyn from Moon." Gordon tries to sooth Pen. People in the restaurant turn to the screen.

"Hello. My name is Robyn . . . Or Robyn-Rihanna to be official . . . I used to be famous singer . . . a very famous singer . . . before Jack took me . . . and put an end to my career" Robyn memorizes her glory days, with a small longing in her voice.

A woman in the restaurant says to his companion. "Yes I remember her very well. Idolized her when I was a teenager."
"It was the time we started to date. Remember when you wondered, where did she vanish." man from her table responds.
"After she gave up from the music, we forgot her, and started to idolize another woman." wife answers.
"She started to speak again." man says and the couple starts To look at the screen again.
"Is she crying, or where did that tear came to her cheek." woman says.
The man looks at his wife, "I think that the tear is in the lens of the camera." he says politely

"Jack went to sleep, Isaac and others are making plans for the future." Robyn starts.

"Future ?" a man in a restaurant says.
"What future. What has actually happened down there ?" another customer asks.

"We are living historical times. According to our scientists, we can never return to Earth." Robyn relates.

"What ! My room reservation ends tomorrow. I am not going pay extra for the delay." Max comments Robyn's words.
"Shut up ! Max." Thunderbirds and Pen shout together.

"We do not know what to do, and what is the best thing to do" Robyn continues.

"Stupid. Rich. Half blooded nigger" Frenchman says, when he and Virgil arrive to the table.
The tables around the couple start to look at them. Virgil looks around.
"Eeeh . . . We are straight. We only put the wig and mustache in place. In the bath." Virgil defends. Tables continue their staring.

Alan lifts his finger and points to the screen. Virgil realizes, what is the matter "He was talking about our S.O.S woman." Virgil says.

Surrounding tables continue to gaze at the couple. "He did not mean her." Virgil continues. Surrounding tables turn back to the big screen. Virgil and Jacques sit down.

"Barbadian Rum ?" Scott asks from Frenchman. Frenchman shakes his head.
"Your wig." Virgil says, and continues "We must go back to the bath."

"You have a gun in your pocket ?" Alan asks Virgil.
"No. Just a small spare part." Virgil says before he and Frenchman go back to the bath.

"These are the only available options for our future." Robyn finishes the introduction of the available future options. "The problem is, that no-one knows, what would be the best thing to do." Robyn holds a small break. The people in the restaurant are quiet. "Last lifts and sonics brought around 10 000 people to here. There are currently around 30 000 people in the space . . . We do not have enough people for all available options. We must choose one option. And start to work for it. Since no-one knows, what is the best thing to do, we vote for the option. Option for what we start to work for. My name is Robyn. Have a good day" Robyn tries to finish the broadcast.

The camera rolls a while. "Do not lose your hope, the hope is still left." she says with tears in her eyes. The broadcast ends.

- - Penthouse Aftermath - -

"You're awake" Robin says to Jack.
"Yes darling, watched the recording from your speech. Woke up almost immediately after the broadcast began."

"What do you think darling ?" Robin asks.
"Darling. It went just fine. Few tears at the end, and so on." Jack answers.

"Thank you darling. I didn't think about my performance." Robin corrects Jack.
"You mean, where are we going. We are not going anywhere for at least ten years." Jack says.
"You think that the construction and developing will take that long ?" Robin asks.
"It depends on the results of the poll." Jack says.

Robyn's and Jack's youngest comes to the living room. He climbs to Robyn's lap.

"Hello little one. You should be asleep. Would it help, if I read you fairy tales." Jack asks.
"Did you see nightmares ?" Robyn asks.
"Yes mom." girl answers.

"Would you like me to come to your room ?" Robyn asks girl.
"Dad too." girl answers.
Robyn looks at Jack. "Busy ?" Robyn asks Jack.
"Never so busy." Jack says. He cheers up and grabs the girl to his arms.
"Lets go, and find out, what Pinocchio has been doing today." he says to girl. Robyn, Jack, and girl go to the bed room.

Jacques 'Frenchman' and Virgil come to the table. Scott watches the couple a while. Finally he opens his mouth.
"So you boys got the disguise in order. What if you two go to the hospital, and see how SOS woman is doing."
"Can I join them ?" Gordon asks Scott.
Scott looks at Penelope "You're a woman, you could go too" he says to her.
Pen, Gordon, Jacques and Virgil leave the restaurant.

Scott, Max and Alan start the conversation.
"Virgil ! What that spare part was" Alan shouts to leaving Virgil. Virgil takes a wig from his trouser pocket and waves it to him.
"I see" Max says.
"He is straight." Alan says to Maxwell.

A strange, strong voice can be heard to the restaurant. The source seems to come closer and closer. People in the restaurant get nervous. They start to walk to the windows.

"Is there a meteor coming" someone shouts.

A huge dark shadow start to cover the windows. People get more nervous.
"It is a go now !" can be heard from the crowd.
"Please help me God ! I don't wanna die"

The voice stops.

"Look ?" comes from the crowd.
"What is that ?" comes from the crowd.
"A space ship !" shouts someone else from the crowd.
"and big !" someone else continues.
"Aliens are coming, aliens are coming !" a person running around shouts.

"Sir. No more rum to him" waitress points Scott to Alan, who is placing the order. "Maybe tomorrow, sir." waitress continues.
"What do you take, Scott ?" Alan asks Scott.
"Coffee, with cream and sugar" Scott answers.

Max looks to the windows "We are dead", he says and grabs a cigarette to himself.

Scott looks at the window after Max's words.
"You can smoke freely in here." he answers lazily to Max.
"Sorry. Do you smoke ?" Max offers cigarettes to Scott.
Scott takes a cigarette "Thanks" he says to Max.

"What is that ?" Max offers a cigarette to Alan.
Alan takes a cigarette and turns to the windows. "Aah. That. It is nothing." he responds carelessly.
"Sire. It is space cargo station." waitress takes part to the dialogue.

"Is it broke, or why it is so close" Scott asks waitress.
"Sire, it came to unload it's storages to the hotel. After it is empty, it is modified to a zoo-house " waitress answers.
"Zoo-house !?" Max wonders.
"Sire, zoo-houses produce food for Space City. They are looking for the skilled work craft for the house, too." waitress says.
"From the guests ?" Max says.
"Who else could they hire." Alan says with an irony in his voice.

"Handy with the construction works and farming ?" Alan asks Max. Max shakes his head.
"Do you have distilleries here ?" Scott worries to the waitress.

"Sir, we have small distillery here for the hospital" waitress answers.
"You could make a new career in distilling businesses." Alan laughs to Scott. Scott looks at Alan.
"Scottish Moonshine" Max joins the joke.

"Sir, was that all ?" waitress saves Scott.
Alan and Max get serious. "Yes that was all" Alan confirms. Waitress leaves the table.

The men watch, how huge space cargo station attaches itself to Hotel. A big telescopic rectangle-like tube comes out from cargo stations body.

"Didn't know that they can be modified to Zoo-Houses" Scott says.
"Neither did I. Probably belongs to some ultimate war-time emergency scenarios" Alan comments the modification plan.

After the tube is in place, people from the windows start to return to the tables.

"Zoo-house, what is it like ?" Maxwell asks.
"Zoo houses are much like greenhouses, they have farmed and wild plants in the houses. And animals too." Scott answers.
"Then there are small rivers and lakes for the fishes in the houses." Alan fulfills Scott's answer.

"Wow, Jungle in the Space." Maxwell exclaims.

The waitress brings Barbadian Rums and coffee for Scott to the table.
"Sir. We have also greenhouses. They produce oxygen for the people in Space City." she says
"How does it work ?" Alan asks
"Sir. The pure greenhouses are part of the ventilation system." she starts "They purifies the air from the carbon dioxide. And transforms it to the oxygen"
"Thank you." Scott says.

- - S.O.S- -

Penelope, Gordon, Virgil and Frenchman come to Space Hospital.

"There you are. I have been looking for you" doctor, who took SOS woman says.
"She can talk !?" Virgil asks
"No she can't" doctor answers. Then he continues "Chin has been looking for you."
"Chin-Chin .. Chin-Chin-Chin, Chin-Tsiih-Di-Dii" Jacques comments the funny name.
"Don't. Wait till you have met Asian Chin." Pen advises Jacques.
"Pardon. If she is mute, there is nothing to do in here. Lets go and meet the man." Jacques answers.

The group leaves the hospital.

Chin is having a meeting with his new sergeant and corporals. He notices the group.
"I have been looking for you." he says.
"Doctor told us to come here." Gordon says.
"Why are you looking for us ?" Virgil says.

"Robyn wanted us to make rescue trips to Earth. And save people from the shelters." Chin answers.
"Currently making plans for the trip" Chin's sergeant corporal says.

"And Jack ?" Gordon asks wisely. Chin takes look at him.
"He gave the literal orders from Robyn's behalf." female corporal answers.

"But why are you looking for us ?" Virgil repeats.
"We need all possible people for the rescue team." Chin says.
"And someone must keep order in here too." female corporal adds.

"How do we get there. You shoot down the last planes which came from Earth ?" Pen asks.
"Robyn promised us Jack's private super sonics." sergeant answers. Virgil takes a closer look at Chin's new sergeant. "Ou. You were promoted to sergeant." he says sergeant.
"Jobs is almost the same than before. Wage is better." Chins former 1st corporal answers.
Gordon looks to Virgil. Waiting for an explanation for Super Sonics. Virgil do not know the answer. He directs the question to Chin. Chin mirrors the looks to his male corporal :

"They are made for very difficult conditions. Their bodies absorb the radiation." male corporal explains.

"But how can we survive on Earth ?" Jacques asks.
"With thick radiation suits" cracker corporal from crash site says.

"How do we get people out from the shelters ?" Penelope asks.
"In the same way you were saved from sight ship." German rescue team leader remembers the chain smokers from the wreck.

"Wow. How ?" Gordon says.
"We are building long tubes and corridors, with what we take people inside super sonics." scar faced rescue team member answers.

"Quite a desperate project you have." Virgil says.
"Yes we do" Chin answers "Try to get used to the idea, that for now on her words are your laws." he continues.

"So we can go down, or stay here" Penelope says.
"Must talk with the others." Virgil says "Was there anything else ?"

"We lost few lifts and sonics to the riots and violence" Chin begins.
"So. If you come down with us, you must be ready to kill radiating and rioting people without any hesitation" Chin's adjutant continues.

"How long ?" Jacques asks.
"Quite long" 1st MMC corporal from the table answers "Longest tubes will be almost 100 kilometers long, or around sixty miles."

"How long ?" Jacques asks again.
"People in the shelters have food for about 2 years. Not known how many shelters are opened by the rioting people." Chin answers with his cool and cold voice.

After a quiet moment Chin asks "Was there anything else ?"
"No. We go and see the others" Virgil says.

"When do we start ?" Gordon shouts from the door.
"After storm is over. After a week or so." 2nd MMC corporal answers.

"Welcome to our team" Chin farewells the group.

Scott sits alone in the half empty restaurant. Penelope, Gordon, Virgil and Frenchman come. Spirits in Space Hotel are quite low. Group sits into Scott's table.
"Where are the others ?" Virgil asks.
"They went to suites" Scott answers. "What are you going to vote" Scott continues and bows to the big screen.
"Do not know" Virgil answers.
"To the new world" Gordon says.
"I prefer staying in here, and probably go to Venus" Penelope answers.
"No new information about the options ?" Virgil asks Scott.
"No. You were away for a quite long time" Scott answers.
"Chin had been searching for us. We visited his quarters." Penelope answers.

"Chin. What Chin wanted ?" Scott asks.
"He wanted us to join his troops." Gordon says, with proud in his voice.
"Well it is better than going to the distilling businesses." Scott says sarcastically.
"So. We will join him ?" Virgil asks.
"What else could we do ?" Scott responds.

"We have two options" Virgil begins.
"We can join the local security or join the rescue team which picks and saves people from Earth." Penelope says.
"Should we vote about it ?" Scott asks.
"No. We thought it would be better, if you decide." Jacques says.

Scott is quiet for a while. Thinking about the options.

"I think that we join rescue team. Smarts and Jacques join the local security" Scott decides.
"Let's celebrate and drink to the new life. Waitress !" Scott continues.

Penelope alerts people from the suites, and soon everyone is at the restaurant. On the restaurant's big screen Life On Venus is ahead of the two other options.

Robyn and Jack are sitting the living room. Watching the results from the screen. Kids are sleeping in the bedrooms.

"Darling. We are going to Venus." Jack says.
"Darling. So it seems. Almost 88 percent has voted and Venus in the lead." Robyn answers "How about my rescue request."
"Boys are working with it. Already building first things for it." Jack says.
"They have to kill people down there." Robyn says.
"Probably. Usually radiation kills you slowly. Could make a tv-series from the operation." Jack answers.
"Movie studio in the basement floor is free." Robyn answers.
"Do not have people for movie making." Jack responds.
"I was joking. Darling." Robyn says.
"Ou. I see. " Jack answers seriously.

"How long the supplies will last ?" Robyn changes the subject.
"Space cargo stations have lots of stuff" Jack begins "Hopefully long enough" he continues.

"What next ?" Robyn asks.
"We start to build coned areas to Moon." Jack answers. "For plants, animals and people."
"With the mining craft in Moon ?" Robyn asks.
"They were expanding the mines. There are construction teams too." Jack answers.

"We are recruiting people all the time." Robyn says.
"How are they taking it ?" Jack asks.
"Just fine. Motivated to start a new life. From the scratch. Without Earth." Robyn answers.

"We have to be very careful with raw-materials. Must recycle everything, cannot afford to waste much." Jack sighs.
"Clamorous ?" Robyn asks.
"Not yet. But we should get geologists and mines to Venus quite soon." Jack answers.

"With what ?" Robyn asks
"With my plane. Another one goes to your rescue project and another one tries, if it can go to Venus." Jack answers.
"Tries ? Do not know that for sure ?" Robyn asks.
"Well. It is first time for everything." Jack answers.
"What if it fails ?" Robyn asks.
"It is not the end of the world." Jack begins "Try to get the wreck back, repair and improve it for the next attempt"
"And if it fails ?" Robyn asks.
"We spend quite a long time here, with limited supplies." Jack begins. "Takes long, before we can build new space ships again."
"Or anything to what we are used to" Robyn says.
"Yes." Jack answers.

"Are you going to save politics and other important people ?" Jack asks Robyn.
"No. Darling. We thought, that we save young adults and teenagers first." Robyn reports.
"And then ?" Jack asks more
"Children and woman. Have to increase the population as quickly as possible and get good long lasting workers to here." Robyn explains the death of the president.
"Fine . . . Just fine" Jack answers "How did Earth react ?"
"Like a bomb. The count of the high status people is so low. They do not take much space in here and so on" Robyn says.
"We need everything possible in here." Jack blesses Robyn's and her team's decision.

Robyn's beeper rings. Robyn checks the caller. "It is from Office quarters, I must go darling." She says.
"Okay. I stay here with kids." Jack answers.

Robyn and Jack exchange a kiss. Robyn leaves the penthouse.

Due to an accident in Grammy gala, Whitney Houston rests in peace, and Rihanna is still very much alive.
Since the situation is what it is, we decided to make a ballad from the beautiful melody. Our latest toy, Ghost Box, is also playing a part in the song.

30 : Over the Rainbow

Robyn comes to the office quarters. There are counters and clerks, who help people to find suitable jobs for them selves. Part of the people moves to Moon base. To work with cones and Moon constructions. People with construction skills are building offices and workshops for other people.

"Everything looks fine" Robyn thinks as she walks through the quarters to her office.

"What now ?" She asks from her secretary in the office.
"We are running out of construction materials." Secretary answers.
"What materials, the next space steel delivery comes from Moon within a week." Robyn says.
"Moon ?" secretary wonders.
"The new expansion has a refinery for the steel. Jack thought, that it would be far more cheaper make the stuff in Moon." Robyn says "They get masons going within few days."
"Do they need staff there ?" secretary asks.
"They asked, if they could get five workers." Robyn answers. Secretary books the need to her computer.
"Was there anything else ?" Robyn asks.
"We are running out of toilet papers." Secretary answers.
"We do not have wood and paper here for a very long time." Robyn answers. "People must wash their asses and wipe them with towels."
"Do we have oil ?" secretary asks.
"An expedition is searching coal fields from Moon. Until we find coal,we cannot use much wood and oil." Robyn answers
"We do get some oil and wood from the greenhouses, but not very much" she continues. "We need the houses for food production."

Robyn is about to leave the office. Then she turns around. "There is one thing. Suggested Jack, that we would have a special celebration day."
"When ?" Secretary asks.
"When the first rescue team leaves the City."

Secretary thinks about Jack, but she does not want to ask about his opinion. Robyn looks at the secretary
"You have difficulties with Jack ?" she asks the secretary.
"Who wouldn't. He is not a human." secretary answers quietly.
"It is not his fault. It is the way he is." Robyn answers.

"He agreed with me." Robyn releases the secretary.
"Of course." secretary answers.
"We decided, that the day will be an official holiday in Space City. Cast it as The Day of Hope" Robyn answers.

"When they leave ?" secretary asks.
"Within few days. After the meteor storm is over." Robyn answers.

"And we are going to Venus." Secretary says.
"We are going to Venus." Robyn repeats and leaves the office.

- - The Day Of Hope - -

The meteor storm is finally over. Chin and his troops are standing in the corridor in the uniforms. People all around Space City have gathered to Entrance Hall. Super Sonic is anchored to the entrance. The orchestra is playing for the people. Robyn stands in the podium.

"Ladies and gentleman. Girls and boys. This is a day of hope." she starts her speech. "Today the first rescue expedition leaves to Earth. This is a day of humanity. This glory day truly is a day of hope"

"Bullshit." a man from the audience says "This a day of hopeless mess. Everything stinks, we have nothing in here."
"Don't say say that. They are only trying to keep the spirits up" a man beside says.
"They are doing the best they can." a third person says. A waitress ends the conversation. She brings toasts to everyone.

"Let us toast to the new day and to our new world" Robyn says and raises her glass. She waits for everyone to join her.
"Cheers to everyone, Cheers to the Day of Hope" she says and drinks her toast.
People join Robyn, they raises their glasses and say "Cheers to you, Cheers to the Day of Hope."

The drums start to play. Chin and his troops enter the hall. People start to cheer, wave and shout.

Chin and his troops march to the super sonic. The entrance to the sonic is closed. Sonic's engines are started. Fireworks are shot from each Space City construction. Finally the sonic leaves the city. The expedition to the ruined Earth begins.

After the plane leaves, Robyn continues "This a day of hope. Let us all have a Meal of Hope."
"The Meal of Hope" Crowds cheer back.

After the plane vanishes from the sight, and fireworks die, people start to move to the restaurants. For Meal of Hope.

- - Meal Of Hope - -

Pen, Max and Jacques are walking to a restaurant with others.
"I miss Thunderbirds" Pen says to Max. "Will they come back ?"
"Who knows. Chin is certain to be very tough and clever guy." Max answers.
"The first expedition lasts only one week." a woman from beside takes part to the conversation.
"They are only searching signs from the life" Jacques, the Frenchman says.
"And checking the damages." woman beside adds.
"They will not land on Earth. They scan the ground and take pictures from the ruined Earth." Max adds.

The conversation ends for a while.

"Nice to meet you madam. My name is Jacques." Frenchman says to the nice looking woman, who took part to the conversation.
"Nice to meet you too. My name is Ann." woman answers.
"You are the Pr woman from Moon." Pen says to Ann.
"Yes I was there." Ann answers.

"You are alone ?" Jacques asks Ann.
"You see anyone around me ?" Ann answers.
Jacques looks around, and says "No"
"You live alone." Pen continues.
"Yes." Ann answers.
"Will you join us for the meal." Jacques asks Ann.
"Yes. I would love to" Ann answers.

Jacques moves beside Ann. The group walks to a small Asteroids restaurant.
"Lets sit here" Pen says after group passes an empty table. Group stops and sits down.

A waitress comes to the table. "What do you take ?"
"Is this meal free ?" Max asks from the waitress.
"Yes. The meal is on the house, drinks are not. The meal includes milk, water and wine only." waitress answers.

"Barbadian Rum ?" Jacques asks from Ann, Pen and Max, they do not deny.
"Four Barbadian Rums" Jacques places the order to waitress.
"And what do you take for meal ?" waitress books the drinks to her pad.
"Turkey ?" Max asks from Pen.
"I'll take Foie Gras with wine." Jacques says to waitress.
"Grass what ?" Max says loudly.
"Duck" Ann answers, and continues "I'll take Foie Gras too."
"Four Barbadian Rums, two Turkeys, and two Foie Grasses. One milk, one water and two wines" waitress confirms the order before she leaves the table.

"What do you do here ?" Ann asks the table.
"We just sit here." Max answers, Pen looks at Max, then she says
"We work for security." Pen says.
"Police ?" Ann continues.
"No. As detectives and in internal security." Jacques answers.

"And you. You are still working for PR ?" Pen asks Ann.
"Not much to do. We make the broadcasts and office works." Ann answers.
"Office works ?" Pen asks Ann.
"We search jobs to the people in the office quarters." Ann answers.
"Everything has changed so much." Pen sighs.
"We must work hard for the future." Ann says.

The restaurant is full. The doors are closed. The orchestra start to play happy, mind lifting music.
The waitress brings food to the table. The group starts to eat.

- - The First Look - -

Thunderbirds are sitting in super sonic. With the other rescue team members.

"Gee I am dying to see Earth again" Gordon says to the others.
"Wish you did not say that" Virgil responds. Scott takes the bag and throws up.
"Be careful with your words." Alan advises.
"The smell was already awful. And now this" Virgil, who sits beside Scott, holds his breath.
"What happened ?" Gordon asks Scott, Scott does not answer.
"He is in sensitive mood." Alan says to Gordon.
"Because of the storm." Gordon asks back.
"Probably." Alan responds.

"Attention" Chin shouts from the cabin door. He waits the silence for a moment. Then he starts to speak :
"This is not a sight seeing tour. First we fly around Earth. Scan and send photos from the ground to Space City"
"And after that, we will land on Earth."
"Land on Earth ?" Chin's 2nd corporal says.
"We had a very important secret mission from Isaac and Jack. We must penetrate to Space City Headquarters on Earth. Isaacs lab and lab stuff are in Space City Headquarters. In a radiation proof bunker. Our first mission is to get everything from there to Space Hotel. Equipments, chemicals, animals and everything." Chin continues.

Chin starts the projector. The projector shows pictures from Space City Headquarters. HQ is surrounded with radiated, rebelling people.
"Our mission is not going to be easy. These pictures were taken few hours ago. We got them through the emergency communication link. The people in the pictures have lost everything. They are waiting for their death. They are extremely angry, they do not care about anything." Chin explains.

"You cannot pity these people. You must shoot and kill them without any hesitation. Otherwise they will attack and kill you." Chins 3rd corporal says.

Scott puts the throw up bag away, he waves his hand.
"Yes" 1st corporal notices Scott.
"You sure about the hostility" Scott asks from the corporal.
"Yes" Chin answers. Then he shows picture where the rioting are attacking and slaughtering others.

"Gee. But they are humans." Virgil says.
"They are not humans anymore, they are like angry animals." 1st corporal responds.
"They look like humans. But they are not. The radiation makes them mad." Chin says and shows more pictures from the rioting people.

"You never showed these pictures to anyone." Alan remarks.
"No. We did not want to shock the people in Space City." Chin answers.

"So. We just go there. Kill everyone around. And bring the stuff to the plane." Gordon says.
"You got it quite right" 1st corporal says.

"We are entering Earth. You can see the ground from the windows." captain of the plane talks in speakers.
Everyone in the cabin starts look down to the ruined Earth.

- - Cheers to the new world - -

In the restaurant Pen, Ann, Max and Jacques are eating.
"Robyn and Jack are coming to meal" Ann notices.
"Are they going to give a speech ?" Max asks.
"Seems that they came for the meal only" Jacques says after Robyn and Jack sit to the front table.

"Quite a lot of people here" Jack says to Robyn.
"Yes. How did it go ?" Robyn responds.
"Just fine darling." Jack answers.

The waitress brings food for the couple.

"They will land on Earth on their trip." Jack says.
"Why ?" Robyn asks.
"Isaac needs some equipment from his lab." Jack answers.
"Isaac. Where is he ?" Robyn asks.
"He went to another restaurant." Jack answers.
"Are you going to Venus ?" Robyn asks Jack.
"The first flight is so dangerous, that Chin forbid important people to join the trip" Jack answers.
"Only pilots." Robyn says.
"Few assistants from Isaacs team too." Jack answers.

The couple eats quietly for a while.

"How is your project going ?" Jack asks.
"The office quarters is almost ready." Robyn says.
"Do you need more space ?" Jack asks.
"Not at the moment. We ran out of toilet paper few days ago." Robyn answers.
"I see." Jack comments.
"Asked people to use towels and wash their asses." Robyn continues.
"What else could you do." Jack says.

"People are quite desperate. Have to start from the very beginning. Nothing to which you have used to, exists." Robyn sighs
Jack does not answer. He stands up and asks attention.

"Hello everyone. Past is past. Let us forget everything from the past. And drink to the new future" Jack says.
"Let us make the new world better than old one. Learn from mistakes. Avoid the mistakes. Let's make everything better." Robyn who has also stood up,continues.

"We will not give up !" Jack shouts to the people.

"Let us drink to ourselves, to our children, to the human race !" Robyn shouts.

"Cheers to all !" Robyn and Jack raise the glasses to their lips. Others follow the example. Everyone stands up and drinks for the new, better future.

To the first flight Chin took Thunderbirds and his elite guards from Space City, Chin One. 12 soldiers and 1 corporal.

Corporal is the lowest leader in military. He can also be a common soldier, who has been rewarded from bravery. Corporal's team has usually 12 members. After corporal comes sergeant. Sergeant's team has also 12 members, he is only higher in hierarchy.

Over the Rainbow is an evergreen from the movie Wizard of Oz. The song was played by Judy Garland, an actress in the movie. The song is not a theme song. Just a song which was played in the movie. In the movie Judy plays a young girl, who has a quarrel with her parents. After the quarrel she goes outdoors, and start to sing.

The song has won many polls about the most popular and best known song ever.

Boys play the song for you with higher tempo, and the melody / verses are played to you twice. Just like they do in many other Space Covers.

One interesting thing in song is that it is very difficult sing. At one point the melody goes down so quickly, and so low, that almost all cover singers fail to reach Judy's performance at that point. In most of the recorded cover versions singer's voices either crack, or then singer fails to keep the melody nice. Like Judy Garland did when she sang / sings the song.

31 : Once Upon a Dream

The sight Chin's troops see from the Sonic's windows is not very beautiful. There are burned craters everywhere. The towns are full of ruined buildings, burning buildings and wrecked cars. On the countryside fields and forests are either burned or burning. The storm had melted ice from both poles. The ocean levels had risen almost 10 meters. All coastal cities and areas were partially covered with water.

Sonic crosses over Paris.
"Look. Paris. There is Eiffel tower" one team member shouts.
"The lights are on in the tower, was Paris saved ?" another one shouts.

Plane flies closer.

"It is gleaming. Where does that shine come" first team member says.
"Not from lights" second member says.
"It radiates heat and gamma rays" third member says.
"Ou." first team member says, with small disappointment in his voice.

"Colosseum. Completely ruined" Virgil says over the ruined and burning Rome.
"Nothing left from Acropol either." Alan says over Athens.

"Cradle of Human Race does not exist anymore" one team member says in Baghdad.
"Those used to be pyramids" one team member comments the burning ruins, when plane flies over river Nile.

The plane leaves Europe and it's surroundings. "We are heading to Asia. Scanning cities in there" pilot talks in speakers.

"Gee. The whole London was shining. Big Ben, Tower Bridge and everything. Wonder what is left from China and it's famous wall." Gordon says quite quietly. No one answers.

"Any signs from life ?" Scott asks Chin.
"Signs from life. Yes. I'll ask." Chin repeats. Then he takes his phone, and calls the scanning cabin.

"Any signs from life." Chin talks to phone, and listens the answer.
"Okay. From shelters ?" Chin continues. "Food ?" He asks from the phone
After getting the answers, he puts phone back to his pocket.

Chin turn to his troops. "We did not come here for nothing." Chins begins.
"There are survivors in the shelters. The scan room got contact with few of them. The savages are surrounding almost all the shelters. They are trying to break the doors and get in." Chin continues.

"For getting food ?" 1st corporal asks Chin.
"Not known. Possible. That they are hunting food. They are mad, the savages are mad, that's what they said. Totally lost their senses." Chin answers and turns to his troops.

"Our mission in here lasts around one year. According to the people we have contacted it is the maximum time people in the shelters can survive. After that our rescue mission is over." Chin says to his troops. Then he goes back to his seat.

China and Asia don't provide big surprises for the rescue teams. Everything is ruined and burning. In Shanghai the heat had twisted two sky drapers tightly together.
"Just like young lovers" Chin comments the sight to his corporal.

"Attention everyone. We cannot find Japan from anywhere. It seems that the ocean has swallowed the whole island . . . we are heading to Australia and New Zealand . . . Check if we can find these islands from Oceania." pilot talks in the speakers. Soon the plane takes more height and speed.

- - The Ball of Hope - -

Meal in Space City is over. The orchestras in the restaurants and other rooms, which were used for Meal of Hope are playing dance music for the people.

"There is no-one on the floor. They are playing waltz." Robyn says to Jack.

Jack raises from his chair. He goes beside Robyn's chair. "Madam. May I have this waltz with you." Jack bows to Robyn. Robyn raises from the chair. Jack offers his hand to Robyn. The couple enters the empty dance floor, and start the dance. Quite soon others start to follow the example.

After the dance Jack asks Robyn "Would you like to have some refreshments" Robyn bows her head, as agreement. Jack takes two glasses of champagne from the waitress. The couple leaves the restaurant. They walk slowly to the terrace and it's rail.

"Jack. What do you see in me ?" Robyn asks at the rail.
"Beautiful, nice woman." Jack answers and puts his hand over Robyn's shoulder.

"Do you still love me ?" Robyn asks.
"I do love you Robyn." Jack answers and tightens his grip from Robyn.

"What do you think. How has children taken the catastrophe ?" Jack asks.
"They do not seem to care very much." Robyn answers.
"You have told everything to them ?" Jack asks.
"Yes. They just said, that Okay. It does not exist anymore. And that was all." Robyn answers.
"Fine" Jack says. The quietness and silent, distant music surrounds the couple.

"What made you fall in love with me ?" Robyn breaks the silence.
"You were the nicest and kindest woman I had ever known." Jack answers.
"Are you telling me the truth darling ?" Robyn asks.
"Yes. I am always very honest with you darling." Jack responds, and continues "You were the Robyn, who wanted to save the world from all bad things. Even then when it seemed that the whole world was against you."
"You always cheated, lied and dragged me to yourself." Robyn comments Jack's honesty.
"I was in love with you. Did not want to lose you to anyone else." Jack answers and kisses softly Robyn's hair.

"You didn't like my tattoos very much." Robyn says.
"Got used them very quickly. They were nothing. When compared to the way you were and are." Jack answers.

The couple looks down to Earth for a few minutes.

"And there it is now, Earth. Everything is gone." Robyn says sadly.
"There was nothing you, me or anyone could have done. There was not much left of it anymore. It gave almost everything it could to the humans." Jack says quietly.

"Lets drink to the new world" Robyn says and takes her glass. Jack follows Robyn. "To the new better world" Jack says.

After a while Jack says. "We should go and visit all rooms and restaurants." Jack and Robyn put the glasses away and leave the terrace. Hand in hand.

- - South from Japan - -

"If you look down, you can see everything which is left from Indonesia and Brunei. Did not find a single island from Philippines." pilot talks in the speakers. The team looks down. The mountain tops are the only things the team saw.

"Attention" Chin shouts. "I contacted Isaac. He said the meteors have probably melted all volcanic islands. Japan and Philippines lies in the edge of the Pacific Ocean Basin."
"What about our mission" Virgil asks "Space City HQ is on island in Caribbean."
"I think, that the island is there, I must go to scan cabin and ask, if they have knowledge about it." Chin answers. Chin walks through the crew cabin to scan cabin.

"Chin. You came just in time." scan officer greets Chin. "I was just about call you."
"What ? Why ?" Chin answers.
"Look at these photos." 1st corporal says.
"Wow !" Chin answers.

"It's him." radio operator says.
"I call Isaac." Chin says and crabs the phone from his pocket.

"Hello Isaac. Busy ?" Chin talks to the phone.
"Hello Chin. How are you. We are having the Ball Of Hope. Jack and Robyn are sitting with me." Isaac answers.
"Okay. Call you later." Chin closes the phone. Then he shakes his head to the scan crew.

- - Ball Continues - -

Jack and Robyn enter Isaac's restaurant, Sagittarius. They take seats from Isaac's and his wife's table.
"Isaac. Any information about the survivors ?" Robyn asks.
"Few millions in shelters." Isaac answers.

"And outdoors ?" Jack asks.
"Chin calls them savages. Estimated that there are few hundred millions in total." Isaac answers.

"How about Africa ?" Robyn asks.
"I'm so sorry Robyn. Chin and his team turned in Egypt. No need to go further. Nothing left from the continent. Humans, animals, plants. Everything lost. There aren't many shelters there." Isaac says.

Robyn starts to cry quietly. Jack holds Robyn until she stops. "They are searching life from the biggest cities first." Jack comforts his beloved wife.

"Jack. I would like to have a word with you." Isaac says. Jack and Isaac raise from the table and walks away from the people.

"Yes." Jack says.
"Chin called." Isaac answers.
"Why ?" Jack asks.
"He did not say why, did he call you ?" Isaac answers.
"No. He did not call me." Jack answers.
"Thought that you knew something about the call." Isaac says.
"No. Know nothing.. We could go back to table. Have more Rum." Jack answers.
"Yes." Isaac says and men walk back to Robyn and Isaac's wife.

"We ran out the toilet papers" Jack opens the conversation.
"Robyn asked people to wash their asses and use towels. For wiping their asses." He continues with loud voice.

"Jack. What is your booze situation ?" Robyn asks
"Booze is one thing from which we are not going to run out of" Jack answers
"So it seems" Robyn answers with a cold voice.
"Really." Jack responds. "Space Hotel has Barbadian Rum, French Wines and Champagne for over 300 years"

"How can it be ?" Isaac's wife asks. politely.
"I filled the cellars for getting vintages from the wines and rum. The taste improves by the time." Jack answers.
"I was just in toilet, and read Robyn's instructions about the lack of toilet paper." Isaac calms down the incident.

"Darling why are you mad at me" Jack asks Robyn quietly.
"This is a big party and you start to talk that talk." Robyn answers.
"Please forgive me darling. I am not heavily intoxicated. Something strange has happened on Earth. Do not know what is yet. Did not think about my words very much. Tried to guess what is wrong in there." Jack apologies Robyn.

Conversation continues with less intimae issues. Isaac and his wife go to dancing. Robyn and Jack sit in the table alone.

"Jack, darling do you remember anything from me ?" Robyn asks Jack.
"Yes. You came often to me. You had a photo from my ex-girl friend in your hand. Then you asked me to say something about her." Jack says.
"I wanted you to forget her completely." Robyn says.
"She was quite a character. " Jack continues. "Should thank you for that. You are always so good and nice to me, darling."
"You really think so ?" Robyn asks.
"Yes darling." Jack answers.

"You were always fighting with the gossip editors and paparazzis for me." Robyn memorizes.
"It was the least I could do. For such a nice and kind woman like you." Jack says. "Couldn't left you alone with them. They were really disgusting to you. Hurting and eating you all the time."

"I confessed my love to you first" Robyn continues memorizing.
"Yes you did darling. I was too scared to lose you. Followed your confession immediately." Jack memorizes.

"You said often that you are not jealous about me. When you saw me with some man. Any man. You always had a jealous attack, and started to question me about the man." Robyn says.
"Yes. It belongs to my nature. Can't help it. I never even thought, that I would hit or hurt you. You did not give much reason to be jealous about you" Jack answers.

"Do you remember, when was the first time you saw me ?" Robyn asks.
"The very first time I saw you alive was in your video chat. I was familiarizing myself to your site. You were chatting with your fans. Watched you a while wondering, who that awesome looking woman is. You were chatting with a fake name. Then you got nervous, and I closed the page. After a while you returned to twitter with the same fake name." Jack memorizes.

Isaac and his wife return to the table, and the conversation transfers into general issues.

Orchestra has stopped playing, people are leaving the restaurant.

"The party is over. Will you come to us." Robyn asks Isaac's wife.
"We go to a nightclub, Star Night. You could join us." Isaac's wife responds.
Robyn takes a look at Jack "I think, that we'll go home. Thanks for asking. Have a good evening." she answers.

Isaac and his spouse leave to night club. Jack and Robyn go to sleep.

- - Australia - -

Chin returns to the crew cabin. Rescue team is watching the mountain tops, which used to be Indonesia.

"Are we going to America and Space City island now ?" Gordon asks from passing Chin.
"No. We start to circle over Australia and New Zealand next." Chin answers and goes to his seat.

The plane flies to north, over Australia. Australia was still left.
"We are heading to Melbourne. Australia." pilot informs the team. The plane stops circling over the area, which used to be Indonesia.

"We are not flying to the capital city, Canberra. To save Australian politics and power keepers ?" Virgil asks Chin.
"No. We search and save the most important people first." Chin answers.
"The most important ?" Alan wonders.
"We are searching and saving young adults and teenagers. The people we really need for the new beginning." Chin answers.
"Was it Jack's idea ?" 1st corporal asks.
"No. The order came from Robyn and her team." Chin corrects.
"Not the old farts and grannies." Gordon repeats the order.
"Yes. No grannies and granpa's. We need young, strong healthy people for work craft and making children." Chin confirms the order.

After a short silence and thinking Gordon asks "Do we shoot them at sight ?"
Chin looks at Gordon. "No . . . We just let them die."

"If you are interested in seeing ruined sights, we are currently over Melbourne" pilot breaks the conversation with his announcement.

After few rounds over Australia. The plane flies over New Zealand. After New Zealand the plane turns around, and heads to Southern Africa. The screen at the front of the crew cabin shows the found shelters and the number of healthy survivors in them. Southern Africa did not have many shelters and survivors.

After southern Africa the plane crosses Atlantic Ocean.
"Brazil and Rio Janeiro is our next stop." pilot announces.
"Samba Samba. Carnival Carnival. Yee. Yee." Scott tries to lighten the moods from seeing Africa.
No one laughs or smiles. The plane takes some height and heads to Brazil.

- - Something in the Air - -

The co-pilot is watching and checking the gauges. He looks worried.

"Damn." Co-pilot says.
"What now ?" pilot turns to co-pilot.
"We are running out of fuel." co-pilot answers.
"Is there a leak ?" pilot asks.
"No. And nothing is broke either. The plane consumes almost twice as much fuel as before the storm." co-pilot answers.
"The gravity hasn't changed. Air pressure is normal." pilot looks at the gauges.

"What could it be ?" co-pilot asks.
"No idea. There is something in the air. We must return and re-fuel the plane." pilot answers.
"Okay. I contact Chin" co-pilot says.

Co-pilot calls Chin. "Hello. We must return to space and re-fuel the plane."
"Good." Chin answers.
"Good ? I do not think so. There is something strange in the air." co-pilot comments.

"I did not mean the returning. We got some strange photos. Need some time for them." Chin responds.
"Okay. We inform the people." co-pilot closes the phone.

"Attention. A small delay. We are slowly running out of fuel. We must make a pit stop to nearest Space Cargo station. No need for anyone to panic. We have still lots of fuel left." pilot speaks to the microphone.

Robyn and Jack enter the penthouse. Jack searches the remote, puts power on to the audio system.

"Darling. What are you doing." Robyn asks
"Watching your old music videos." Jack says and pushes the button.
Jack takes a beer from the bar and some snacks from the fridge.

Then he starts to watch videos from Robyn's best selling singles. Robyn sits beside Jack.
"You were very popular then." Jack says to Robyn.
"Yes I was darling." Robyn answers.

The couple continues to watch old videos.

"Robyn I love you." Are Jack's last words before he passes on the couch.
Robyn brings a blanket to Jack.
She takes glimpse to the screen and leaves the audio-video system playing.

Finally Robyn gives a good night kiss to the sleeping Jack and goes to bedroom.

It is Santa's home country. Long time ago there were two Viking tribes. Norwegian and Swedish Vikings. Norwegians were West oriented and Swedes were East oriented.

The Norwegian Vikings lived in Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Ancient Swedish Vikings in Sweden and Finland. Viking tribes were very close to each other, they both loved their their children, and they were willing to do things for them.

When Christians and Christianity came, celebrations for the kids were converted to the Christianity. The name and reason was changed to some Bible related thing, but habits were not changed. Although Christians hunted witches for centuries, Euro-kids are still allowed to cast forbidden / sinful spells to almost everyone.

Christmas

The best known Viking celebration is naturally Christmas. On the Christmas Eve Santa comes from the north and give presents to nice Viking kids. The little Viking Kids are privileged to meet Santa in person, before he starts his world wide tour.

First and Second Witch day

The Easter was and is the primary Witch Day for north european witches. Painted eggs and chocolate belongs to the 1st Witch Day / Eastern. In Germany they have Easter trees, in the garden / outdoors. In USA and UK the similar kind of day is celebrated as Halloween.

Easter witches were said to have a capability to fly with a broom. Their brooms were always equipped with a black cat sitting in the back, and a coffee pot, hanging from the stalk of broom.

The second Witch Day takes place at the time Mr. Frosty visits Russian kids. The costumes you use and spells you cast, when you gather candies and goodies from your neighbors are slightly different. On the first day you dress up like real Witch, on the 2nd Witch Day your sheet-like costume makes you look like a ghost. Rewards you get from the spell casting are the same on both days.

When Christians came, they converted the 2nd Witch day to their religion. The 2nd Witch Day is nowadays a day when three wise men paid a visit to the newborn Jesus

Name Days

Besides Christmas and Witch Days, the little Vikings have celebrations on their nameday. Name day celebrations and presents are usually almost as big as you get on birthdays. All used / registered first names have an official celebration date in the calendars, so all the kids with the same first name have a party on the same day. If your name is not printed on calendar, you can ask the nameday date from the institute, which keeps track from the first names. In Hungary name days are bigger celebrations than birthdays. Then there are countries, where namedays are nothing.

How to cast spells on Witch Days ?

The adult witches usually used wooden magic wands, when they cast spells to people and things. Magic Wand is / was usually a branch of tree. The wand can have more than one head. The spells ( especially Easter spells ) are quite often cast with a bunch of branches.

The spell is cast so, that you point your magic wand towards the person / building. When you cast the spell, you wave the wand. Keeping the wand pointed towards the target all the time. Most of the movement should be done vertically. The most important thing is to keep the direction towards the target.

The basic Easter spell is not a curse. In the spell you cast health, wealth and good luck to the target.

32 : Schuduet ( hurricane mix )

Jack wakes up from the couch. He looks around. He shuts down the audio - video system. Servants have returned to work from the celebration.
"Morning sir." Servant comes to room and start to clean up the tables.
"Morning." Jack answers.
"Would you like to have something for breakfast ?"
"Yes. Coffee, toasted bread, fried eggs, sausage, cheese, milk, and orange juice." Jack says.
"Same to us . . . To dining room." Robyn shouts from the bedroom.

"Do you eat in dining room ?" servant asks Jack.
"I'll eat here. Bring lots of coffee." Jack answers and opens screen.
He checks the latest reports from the rescue team.
"Two million total, from which 300 000 between 15 and 25. Too much." Jack says aloud to himself.

"What is too much ?" Robyn, kids and nanny enters the living room.

Jack is just about to answer, when he notices the kids.
"Morning everyone ! Did you sleep well ?" Jack shouts.

"Morning dad. I slept like a log" youngest answers.
"You snored a lot." eldest answer.
"And made awful lot of noise. Before you passed." another one says.
"Special occasion. Special occasion." Jack explains hastily.

"You never get tired of mom's music." eldest continues by judging Jack's taste.
"You always play her old songs and watch her old videos." middle one joins.
"I happen to be in love with your mother." Jack continues his explanation.
"Thank you darling." Robyn says.
"You're welcome darling." Jack answers.

"Anything special for today, school or something ?" Jack asks from the kids.
"Dad. Today is Sunday." middle one answers.
"Sorry. My eyes are not yet fully open." Jack answers. "But something ?" he continues.
"Nothing special." eldest answers.
"Dad. Will you join and play with us ?" youngest asks.
"I am terribly sorry. Not on this Sunday. I have to work today." Jack apologies.

"The breakfast is ready" servant shouts from the dining room's door.
"Let's go" Nanny says to the kids. Nanny and kids start to walk to the dining room.
"Have a good Sunday. I love you." Jack says to kids.
"Dad. I love you too" youngest turns temporarily around.

After kids and their nanny have gone to the dining room, Robyn asks Jack "What was too much ?"
"There are too many survivors for us. Cannot take them all. Not even the people between 15 and 25"
"How many can we take ?"
"We have seven space cargo stations left. One goes to the office quarters, one must be left for storage. Five stations for refugees. Three or three and half can be changed to residential use. At least one is needed for food processing."
"How many ?" Robyn asks.
"20 000 per one station. 60 000 to 70 000 thousand in total." Jack answers.
"And there are ?" Robyn asks.
"There are 2 million survivors. Around 300 000 between 15 and 25." Jack answers.
"Could we accelerate the construction project in Moon Base ?" Robyn asks.
"Yes we can do that, but you are not going to like it." Jack answers.
"Why ?" Robyn asks.
"We need organic material for creating ground to Moon. And the only non-radiating organic things on Earth are the survivors in the shelters." Jack answers.
"And we would have to kill and bury them into Moon ?" Robyn asks.
"Just like Mr. Hitler did to Jews in Second World War." Jack answers.
"Would it be possible to find carbon or coal from Moon." Robyn asks.
"They are searching from the underground, but nothing points to a thing, that there is carbon in Moon." Jack says.
"So. There is nothing but iron in Moon. What about Venus ?" Robyn asks.
"In Venus there would be lots of carbon and coal." Jack answers.

"Have you talked with Isaac." Robyn asks.
"No. Isaac respects life. Could give the slaughtering orders directly to Chin ." Jack answers honestly.
"Could we neutralize some material from Earth ?" Robyn asks.
"We decided, that we do not pay any attention to Earth and it's radiation. We do not have resources for such an effort." Jack answers.

"Could we bring material from Venus ?" Robyn asks.
"Even if we managed to get there, sonic is too small to bring enough carbon."

Jack and Robyn sits quietly at the table.

"They will die anyway." Robyn says to Jack.
"So they will. I thought about it too. Could try to minimize the number of killed people." Jack agrees.

"How many we have to slaughter ?" Robyn asks.
"Almost one million." Jack answers.
"And it would save lives of 900 000 people." Robyn continues.
"Yes." Jack joins Robyn.

"What else could we do." Robyn says sadly.
"What else." Jack repeats.

The servant brings the breakfast for Robyn and Jack.
"I admire you for your strength." Jack says to Robyn.
"I am not that strong darling." Robyn answers.
"Darling, you are far more stronger than many men I know." Jack says.

The couple eats the breakfast quietly for a while.

"If we are lucky most of them dies to natural causes." Jack thinks.
"For real or like the indians in North America ?" Robyn inquiries.
"For real. 50 000 to 100 000 from the elder people is certain to die before the project ends. Poor conditions increases the number of deaths." Jack answers.
"They cannot throw the bodies out of the shelters." Robyn says.
"No. It would be a suicide." Jack confirms.

"Jack, what are they searching from the headquarters ?" Robyn asks.
"Essential stuff from Isaac's lab." Jack answers.
"Some kind of Box Of Life, which is hidden into HQ, has been in the rumors." Robyn inquiries.
"The storm came as a big surprise. To me and to everyone. Such box does not exist." Jack answers.
"So, the rumors are only hopes for the better future." Robyn says.
"Probably." Jack answers.

Jack takes his coffee cup and empties it.

"We need to delay the expedition to Venus. And assign the another Sonic to the rescue operation." Jack says.
"I will assign more people to Moon project. Do you have anything else for today ?" Robyn asks.
"No. Nothing special." Jack answers.

"We could go to Theme Park. There would be a new roller coaster and very many other exiting things for you, darling." Robyn says.
"Not forgetting the ice-cream cones and pop-corn. I think it would be fun." Jack answers.

"So. What are we waiting for ?" Robyn asks.
"Kids. I'll pick the kids." Jack answers hastily.

"Just the two of us darling." Robyn corrects.
Jack gets surprised. "Ou. Dear Miss. Your wishes are my commands. You need a coat or something ?"
Robyn shakes her head. "No. I'm ready." she says.
"So. Shall we." Jack offers his hand to Robyn and the couple leaves to Theme Park.

Rescue sonic anchors to space cargo station. Rescue team leaves the sonic to the station.
"You can get food and drink from the dining room" Chin says to the team. Then he leaves the team and goes to office.

In the office Chin takes a contact to Isaac.

"Hello Isaac." Chin begins.
"Hello Chin. How are you ?" Isaac responds.
"Fine thanks. The photographs from the scans." Chin begins.
"What is in them ?" Isaac asks.
"A miracle. Sending the photos to you." Chin answers.
"Let me see. Got it. Oh my God. Is this a joke ?" Isaac says and watches the photos.

In the photos there is Space City HQ island. Just like it was before the storm. No craters, meteors and damages. Absolutely nothing.

"Let me guess, you are sending old photos from the time before the storm." Isaac continues after reviewing the photos
"No. We took them, when we entered Earth's atmosphere. From Space City HQ security cams." Chin answers.

"Well. DPS protects. Very well. How about the radiation ?" Isaac asks.
"The island is surrounded by ocean. Lots of radiation there." Chin reports.
"You have the radiation suits." Isaac answers.

"Awful many people had escaped to the island. Lots of savages outdoors. How long it takes before the radiating savages die ?" Chin asks.
"Do not know. Depends how much the radiation have changed their bodies. What do they eat ?" Isaac asks.
"According to the photos, they eat corpses and each other" Chin answers.
"Then they do not starve to death. Probably longer than the people in the shelters." Isaac says.

"By the way. Prepare your troops for a small shock." Isaac says.
"What ?" Chin asks.
"At some point Jack is almost certain to ask you to kill people in the shelters" Isaac
"Okay. Kill people. I thought we are saving people here." Chin wonders.

"Jack and Robyn do not have any option for killing elder people from the shelters. We need lots of clean, non-radiating organic material for keeping the younger refugees alive. The people in the shelters are the only non-radiating things on Earth." Isaac explains.

"I see. Do not know how the new recruits takes the additional mission . . . Could leave them out of the execution teams . . . Saying, that we take the corpses to city for honorable funerals . . . say that the execution team is searching corpses . . . after the younger people have been taken to plane . . . or something like that. Not a big problem . . . Could use the same explanation also to the others . . . Have you talked with Jack ?" Chin plans the slaughtering.
"No. He thinks, that I am some sort of peace loving wimp. He never speaks about things like that with me." Isaac answers.

Chin does not know what to say.

"Was there anything else ?" Chin asks from Isaac.
"Yes. We abandoned the tube systems. We are building mobile radiation locks for the shelter doors. And radiation suits for the saved people. Should be ready for the first rescue flight." Isaac responds.
"Okay." Chin says.

"Remember to check radiation shield layers from Jack's plane on regular basis. By the time radiation goes deeper and deeper to the layer. At some point it must be thickened or replaced." Isaac says.
"Ok. Anything else ?" Chin answers.

"Now that you have seen what it is like. Can you say how much time you need for emptying a shelter." Isaac asks.
"How long it takes to install the radiation lock and break the door ?" Chin asks.
"About an hour." Isaac responds.
"Emptying a shelter takes about two to three hours. One to three shelters per flight. Then we have to fly to the nearest station. Takes an hour per side. Two hours in total. Six hours total. Two to three operations per day. And two to three hundred people per day." Chin estimates.

"Thanks" Isaac writes the estimation down.
"Not at all. Something else ?" Chin says.

"I have new mail from Jack. Let me see . . . he has assigned second plane to the rescue operation." Isaac says.
"Venus flight is delayed to the time after the rescue project . . . Robyn is assigning more people to Moon project . . . Landscaping and construction skills are needed." Isaac continues relating the message. "So. They have made their minds . . . Just like I thought . . . Your sealed orders are probably on their way."

"Thanks." Chin says "Anything more ?" he continues.
"Not at the moment. . . . How is your team taking the mission." Isaac asks.
"You got to do, what you got to do. Not very happy about it." Chin answers.
"Okay. Venus project is waiting for me. Bye." Isaac closes the call.
"Bye Isaac. Have a good day." Chin closes the communications.

Chin leaves the office and joins his team for the special "Meal of Hope". The meal is served to the team in the dining room.

The sun is shining in Space Hotel's Theme Park, like it always does. Quite a many people have come to the park to spend their Sunday.

Robyn and Jack are walking hand in hand in the park. Jack goes and buys ice cream cones for the couple.

A group of people stops Robyn and Jack.

"Hello. Robyn . . . Jack . . . How are you ?" a woman from the group asks from Robyn and Jack.
"Hello, just fine" Robyn answers.
"Yes. We came to check the new roller coaster" Jack continues.
"And spend some time in here." Robyn continues.

"So we are heading to Venus." a man from the group says.
"Yes and rescuing people from Earth" Robyn says.
"Do we have enough room for the refugees ?" woman from the group asks.
"We are modifying old Space Cargo stations for them." Jack answers.
"And then we are expanding Moon Base." Robyn continues.
"Space net is creating a route to Venus. They are transferring the remote controlled satellites from Earth's orbit to the route." Jack explains.

"Well. How has your day been ?" Robyn breaks the silence with a question to the group.
"Just fine. We came here to have some fun. And listen to the concert." a girl from the group answers.
"Have you tested all attractions in here ?" Jack asks from the children.
"Not yet." another girl responds.
"But you plan to do so ?" Robyn inquiries.
"Of course." a boy from the group answers.

"What's the best attraction here ?" Jack asks from the children.
"New roller coaster." one boy answers.
"I prefer old flying carpet." another one says.
"And you ?" Robyn asks from a shy girl.
"I liked the slide house." girl answers.
"It is one of the Jack's favorites too." Robyn reveals.

"Mom. Can I go to roller coaster ?" one boy says to his mother.
"Of course, darling." mother answers. "We should go now." she says to the others.

"Have a good time." Robyn says to the group.
"You too." a man from the leaving group says.

"Let's go to those benches" Jack says to Robyn. Robyn and Jack sit down, finishing their ice cream cones. Jack grabs Robyn under his shoulder.
"Would you like to go roller coaster ?" Robyn asks Jack.
"Not really. Just sit here and watch people. How about you ?" Jack answers.
"We could go to big wheel, and to the concert in the park after that." Robyn says.
"Good idea darling." Jack whispers to Robyn's ear.

After finishing the ice-creams, the couple leaves the bench. They walk to the slowly rotating big wheel and enter the wheel.
"Everything has changed so much." Robyn says quietly to Jack.
"So it has." Jack answers.

From the wheel the couple heads to the park. To listen classical concert. The orchestra is playing the old favorite classical songs.
"Almost all old music makers were Germans or German speakers." Jack comments the concert.
"Yes darling. You like classic music." Robyn says.
"Yes I do . . . Would you like to sing ?" Jack responds.
"Now ?" Robyn says.
"Not now. When you were younger you loved singing. Always practicing and singing." Jack memorizes.
"Don't know." Robyn answers.

After few songs the concert ends.

"I am thirsty. Coffee, Soda or Beer ?" Robyn says.
Jack gives few thoughts to the available options.
"Beer." Jack begins. "Beer is fine. Having a small hang-over from yesterday."

Robyn and Jack walk to cafeteria's terrace. There aren't free tables. The couple takes free seats from partially reserved table.

"What it is like in Venus ?" a woman asks from Robyn and Jack.
"Almost like it was on Earth." Jack answers.
"But it rotates in the opposite direction than Earth." Robyn adds.
"There aren't any seasonal changes in day lengths either." Jack says.

"Can we jump there like rabbits and kangaroos." a boy from the table asks.
"No we can't. Gravity in Venus is almost the same, it is on Earth." Jack answers.

"Are you having a good time here ?" Robyn asks from the children.
"I was three times in roller coaster. Others got a bit dizzy after first round." a boy from the team says proudly.

"I think it is high time for us to go home." mother says to the children.
"Not yet mom. I want to go to carousel." one child says.
"Okay. One round in carousel. And then we go home" father says to the children. The family leaves the table.

"It is getting darker." Robyn says to Jack.
"Yes. They rotate the hotel so, that the sun light follows the clock." Jack answers.
"I know that, darling. I was thinking about going home." Robyn says.
"What if we go to bird bond, and sit there a while." Jack proposes.
"Okay darling." Robyn answers.

The couple walks to the bird pond. There are swans, ducks, peacocks and very many others.

After birds Robyn and Jack start their journey home.
"Would you like to go to restaurant ?" Robyn asks.
"If you want to." Jack says.
"If we go to piano bar, will you accompany me ?" Robyn asks.
"Haven't played piano for ages. I could try." Jack answers.
"What you want me to sing ?" Robyn asks.
"Princess of China ?" Jack proposes.
"Do not remember it anymore." Robyn says.
"It is nice duet. Remember when you were supposed to sing the duet in Grammy Gala. You sang the beginning of it, and then you marched away from the stage. Left your co-singer alone onto to the stage." Jack memorizes.
"I remember. Gossip writers were chasing me all the time. Whitney Houston died a day before the gala. I was shocked and very tired . . . but I do not remember the song and lyrics any more. How about A million miles away. Kids ask me to sing it quite often." Robyn responds.
"From the Girl Like You . . . Let's see, if they have notes for it." Jack agrees.

Robyn and Jack enters half empty piano bar, Upright. Jack takes Barbadian Rum, and champagne to Robyn.

The pianist searches notes for a Million Miles Away. Jack sits behind the piano. Robyn leans on it. Robyn starts to sing. Jack accompanies her. After few songs, they give piano back to the pianist. Then they sit to an empty table.
"I had very nice time today darling." Jack says to Robyn.
"So did I." Robyn answers.

After two glasses the couple leaves the bar and walks back to home.

The Hurricane mix comes from the sound effects. Not forgetting the close relationship with a vast hurricane Irene. Irene washed the eastern coastal of the United States. Irene started the cleaning job from Florida and continued the cleaning all the way to the northern border of the United States. At the very same time the song was made.

Musicians and also book writers are entrepreneurs, they do not get regular paychecks. They get money from the sales. If musician do not do music, or artists / bands records do not sell, their incomes are very near zero.

The money music makers get from sold songs and albums is far more smaller than price, with what they are sold. Usually less than 10% from the retail price. From the music makers share, the money is divided between artist / band, lyric writer, arranger and composer. All commercial songs have named authors. Authors who are eligible for sales based fees. They are stored into big international dataBases, from where the fees are divided to the music makers or their record companies. Old songs whose authors are not known are recorded as traditional.

Managers, who are often blamed for emptying the pockets of the artists, usually take a provision from the artists / bands fees. When you start your career as recording artist / band, manager is the first person you need. Manager takes care of the practical things for you. Manager negotiates deals with record company and concert arrangers.

Record producers are usually payroll people who work for the record company. They take care and are responsible from practical things around the album / single. They arrange studio times, negotiate with press, contact people who design album covers, takes care of the delivery, etc. When the album is made, they sit in the control room with recorder ( a person ), and give comments about the song / album.

Before hiring the manager you can send you demo songs to the record company. Big record companies have departments and smaller have person / persons, which listen to the demo tapes all day long. They search promising songs, artists and bands all the time.

When music is played for public, ( radios, movies, video games, shops, public events, etc ) the player must pay copyright fees for the music makers.

The music makers' share from concert tickets is not very big either. Arrangers need money, advertisers need money, staff need money, band members and dance groups need dressing rooms and money, hotel rooms and traveling costs for the whole crew are quite big.

There was a time ( 70's and 80's ) when the costs and advertising costs of the tours were bigger than the money arrangers managed to get with ticket sales. On purpose. These tours were called promotional tours, their purpose was to increase album sales.

Quite often musicians make live performances with fixed price. Profits and losses goes to arranger.

Amongst music makers the artists and bands which make their music by themselves are the richest. They get all of the music makers money to themselves.

Amongst music makers as group, the composers are the richest. They get money from all songs which are made from the melody.

During the best selling seasons the incomes are big. When compared to the average life-time, the best selling seasons are quite short. Usually only few years and few albums. Therefore music makers are always advised to save some money from the best selling years to the quiet years.
