Rotor is always in top. Below the rotor you need space for
thrust. If space for thrust is too big, body sways a lot. Single
rotor or combined thrust must be near weight center. Rotor can be turned
into all directions. Original idea is that, copter car do not have tail
propel for left-right steering. It saves weight and length.
Roof must be rounded aerodynamically for leading thrust away from body.
Engine is on the roof. Exhaust gases are obviously used for creating
turbulences and enforcing the thrust buffer below rotor.
Bottom is always wing, with small airbag. When copter car stands in the
air, you can increase the size of air bag. In uncontrolled falls you extend
the sides and air bag from the idle position.
Rotor-body needs a system, which keeps the bottom wing angle. Nose down fly
creates vacuum-pressure system, which pushes copter down.
For safety, body should be the outmost part.
When you play with flying vehicles, weight reducement is important.
Copter car is the only possible way to build a flying vehicle for bigger
masses ( into exiting infrastructure ). Possible that in the future
gravitational shield allows the construction of another kind of flying
vehicle.
